i might know what caused it, because it's been happening to a few other bosses and rares on the campaign map as well.

1. enter new area with boss or rare mob on map
2. do not open map or quest log
3. kill boss or rare mob
4. open map, observe map marker does not check off

i think this combines with the quest to not trigger the hammer drop. i'm not 100% sure this is the bug repro steps, but it's what i think i've been seeing today, will try to verify
