Toggle for items to drop identified
" Remind me where exactly I asked for advice in this post. It's literally a suggestion, and you're missing the point entirely. The point isn't to facilitate obtaining "extremely valuable" loot, it's to make all loot viable. We're currently filtering for bases, which is braindead. There are so many possible bow upgrades for a LA out there, but they're passed by the filter cause they're "bad bases", when actually, they have a +arrow affix and the other 5 affixes are awesome, and would definitely be an upgrade to the current dualstring. The current system as is is exactly what you mentioned: try to get an extremely valuable item(base + affixes), and to do that, make 40 trips a map to identify full inventories and then evaluating them, instead of playing the game, and letting a loot filter figure out what's good and what's not. Explain to me how it's a good idea to pick up 60 magic rattling scepters in hopes of getting a specific combo of t1 affixes, instead of just letting it be filtered through. Saying "it'll never happen" is shortsighted. It's a bad argument. I'm saying it SHOULD happen, and I am explaining to the community and devs WHY that's the case. Jus an idea but, they could just make a unique helmet that auto identifies items.
Maybe have downside of you have to store the id scrolls in the helms rune socket, or make it so it instead auto id's on pick up. |

" I don't think having a slot bricked by this functionality should be a thing. It would make it so you'd need a rarity bot with it equipped, and make it hard for solo players. Needing to upkeep id scrolls in your stash tab, and iding literally everything should be downside enough. Though, I, personally, believe this should be a base feature and have no downside at all.
