@GGG Please get back to building an ARPG, Not Elden Ring nor The Witcher 3

Where is the "Elden Ring" in Path of Exile?

Nowhere, that was just a funny idea from Tencent's marketing division.

An ARPG of this style is not supposed to be the mechanical Skill

That tells me everything i need to know, thank you.

Also, this narrative you're pushing about arpg's historically not being story based is just a flat out lie.
It plays nothing like either of those games.

This is called a "metaphor". A comparison of similarity specifically invoking a HARD RPG that is slowly and methodically worked through.
The new changes to the endgame seem to indicate they are actually doing what I suggest and I applaud them.

Speaking as a PoE 1 player who's been playing for almost 13 years, I'm going to warn you right now there's no guarantee this current trend of balancing will remain. Since closed beta, the first game has underwent a metric ton of balance passes, making some ridiculous boss fights easier, and also increasing monster HP and damage across the board.

It's quite possible that the power spikes GGG has given is going to be met with buffed monsters or more difficult content being implemented later down the line to account for it.

All I'm suggesting is that you temper your expectations, or if you're smart, expect the worst.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley
I dont care if the monsters get harder as long as the experience is rewarding and not tedious.

The strategy is in combining the skills, passive tree and equipment to efficiently kill many .... many ... many enemies.

For example, a build called a Ward Loop in POE1 was able to leverage a side effect of ward break to trigger other skills and then make the mapping efficient.

You want a survivors game. Got it.

He wants a standard normal ARPG.
You again? Why don't you just play PoE 1 if you love it so much?
