No I'm a low life build, I have 300hp. No pet either, playing lich lament xbow.

Also don't have convalescence. Dropped it to run more damage without buying insane spirit ammy/chest.

Quite literally cannot gain ES outside of recharge and Ghost Dance. Unique Ultimate flask doesn't work for degen either. Just usally don't die to em even with those kinda stats, which is pretty achievable on a life build with better mit and recovery.

My mate was surround deadeye xbow pure life following ruetoo's build and was tankier than me.

Again I really feel like you just.. walk back a bit and it's fine.

Also this is straight up wrong. Only the additional elemental portion of armour is exclusive to hits. Armour does reduce DoT too, it states physical damage.

nah you are right I read the wrong text in game my bad I hovered over the "physical damage" text instead of armour itself

Just here to say I agree.

I just got a warbringer to maps, and while its killing speed is slower, I am having fun being a lot tankier. Lots of bosses I can stand toe to toe with. It takes awhile to kill them, but I get to ignore some of their mechanics so its a fair trade. It was fulfilling the class fantasy that I envision when I think of a warrior.

Then I go into an abyssal depths and the degen just kills me with no recourse.

I was about to try to buy a gear upgrade to help mitigate it, only to find that there just is nothing that can. That is bullcrap. The beauty of PoE is that there is always an answer.

Can we get rid of the -Poison Duration/-Bleed duration affixes and get a new affix that mitigates all physical/chaos damage over time? Its fine if we need to stack multiples of it to really get good effect like we do with armour applies to elemental.

At the very least, nerf the stupid turn-off-regen debuff to like 10% so we can at least stack regen to try to mitigate it.
armour doesnt reduce its damage, but the "additional physical damage reduction" found on shields will. "additional damage reduction" can be thought of as "physical resistance" and applies to all damage not just hits.

I was about to write what are people talking about and then found this comment. So that's why my Merc with 50% flat phys dmg res and almost 600 life regen per sec but no other defenses has no problems in abyss.

I have to say that there are some mods that should just not be able to spawn with each other
Its clear mobs just spawn randomly and randomly pick mods to have on them but the very fact no one on their end seems to think some mods should not be possible with each other is a lack of testing on their part.

Id like to also note bosses throwing tantrums and spamming their ability's like their on coke sometimes giving you no chance of survival.
