Solo Players Get Crushed by Party Play Inflation
" Surely we're not citing the scammer prices in annul. No-one is buying stuff in annul unless they want to get scammed. Omen of Chaotic Rarity + Chaos + Omen of Sinistral Necromancy + Preserved Vertabrae + Distilled Paranoia - that's what people usually do, and if you hit abyss overrun and the map is 100% rarity then sure you can sell it for 3 div, or if you miss you might sell it for 1 - but it's more than possible to get a positive return on investment as a solo player in these maps. Maps have variance, if you run one juiced map and don't get anything ,you run another, another, another, until you hit Unstable Energies on a good layout with a quad breach or something and suddenly you made more than all the maps could have sold for. Parties also run into the same problem if they do not run enough of the juiced content. You can party up and go negative easily, in fact it happens at a higher rate and more often because of the sharing. This is just what happens when you invest in your content and loot is RNG. Sometimes you get unlucky. If you sell all your good maps, you are just selling away your chances at something good, which is probably why you end up making less than the people running it. " What content in the game are you unable to clear because of the economy? Lots of people have reported here that they can clear T15 maps with gear that costs 40ex. Not even 1 divine. Are you saying you are unable to clear an Uber Boss at max difficulty? If so, it seems correct to me that you need to grind in order to afford the gear to do that. SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

" If you want to remove Gravebinds so rarity bots are not a thing, sure I guess. It's really not what is ruining the economy, players do not get that high rarity anymore, and most parties do not have rarity bots. If you want to "remove rarity" you do not know what you are talking about. You get 10% quantity of items and 25% more currency per player in a party. Not more rarity. If you just looked to other players for strats instead of to compare yours, got a couple of rings with decent rarity, then prepped the strats and played the game, you would also make decent currency man. I play with my friends, I play solo, I make more solo usually. Last edited by AverBeg7#1689 on Sep 29, 2025, 10:41:02 AM

The biggest problem isn't any of that, it's multiboxing

" Yes, I know I need to work a lot more on my gear, I’m aware of that. But party players farm in just one week as much currency as I can get in a whole month. Why should I be punished just because I play solo? I know the farm is shared between party members, but still, compared to a SOLO PLAYER, they farm way, way more currency etc. |

" I played with my friends, and we would play it together even w/o +rarity/quantity/enourmous gold/etc. But the differency between party (even w/o raritybot) and signle is so big. You can run solo 10 maps to drop 1 div, you can run with friends (even w/o rarity bot) and print 1-2 div per map. It's just too big of a difference. I dont care what they try to sell via GUI, but actual drops of currency is extremely different between party/solo. |

Party bonuses ruin the economy because of how botters abuse it. Party play should have the same rarity/quantity as solo play. The reason to play in a party should be "because it's FUN to play with friends!", that's a great and valid reason by itself. Right now it's just another incentive for RMT/Botters.

" Same rarity for solo won't do much at all. This still would not matter due to gravebind gloves: "Enemies in your Presence killed by anyone count as being killed by you instead", all you have to do is having one person with the gloves, all the passives for presence radius (incl a scepter) and rarity on every single piece that allows for. Normally such a build would be inefficient to play but it's a massive boon if someone else does the killing, instead. Last edited by bestsss#7863 on Sep 29, 2025, 11:33:31 AM

Saying this exact thing since the release. Its not gonna work. The issue are mostly rarity bots. Without rarity bots ubwont reach that much rarity
Another thing is how map rarity interacts with personal rarity. Its multiplicative for some fucking reason and not additive. So 300 map rarity + 700 personal will be 2100 Which also means higher rarity is way more effective than it would be with additive. Thats an issue it should be additive Last edited by Alzucard#2422 on Sep 29, 2025, 1:07:11 PM
