If an item has ~18 possible affixes your odds of rolling 3 specifically are 1 in 816 or 1 in ~666k for both prefix and suffix. Adding a 4th affix to both ends means your odds for each would be 1 in 3060 so roughly 1 in ~9.4 million to roll the 8 you're after. And that's before we even think about the ranges of values. " He's not completely wrong though. Rare item drops are basically almost a waste of space and computing power at the late endgame, even with T4-T5 item it's still extremely rare to find something decent enough to be made potentially usable with a bit of crafting. Overall a bad take, many of the points are because it's an ARPG, you could say the genre is cursed but you could also say that's how it is and move on from it.
