In two days I’ve gotten zero loot from maps. In 0.3, loot from spirits was extremely rare, good omens almost never appeared in rituals, and in a whole month of Delirium I only saw a boss spawn once. Even with all those flaws, the game was still fun to play, because you could clear maps quickly.”

But after 0.3.1, everything feels worse. Now you have to hunt rare monsters yourself, spending 2–3 times longer than before. Because of that, you really notice how little loot they drop. On top of that, bosses are everywhere now. They slow your progress, and the loot they give is no better than from a rare monster. Powerful bosses hit harder, tank more damage, but the reward is exactly the same.

Essences also feel like they spawn much less often—maybe that’s because rare monster markers were removed from the map.

Removing rare monster markers was a really bad decision. After this patch there’s no fun left for me — the last two days have just been pure misery.

Same issue here as well, the cost of juicing maps currently outweighs the reward.

Currently it cost around 5-6 div to juice 10 maps properly. If you can run them without dying, atleast for me is netting no where near 5-6 divs.
Holy you actually have to find the rares now. Whatever will we do.

THey literally mark the boss for you within like 2 minutes of the map...do you want them to highlight your path as well?
I make maps as apart of my income stream. It absolutely does not cost 5-6D to juice 10 maps. I understand your point though. Boss farming is not profitable. I have always juiced the maps with chaotic rarity, distilled with rarity, and running abyss for extra rare monsters + rarity. Bosses DO not give you a return comparatively to killing rares. The rares do if you judge it on dozens of maps. That is a flaw in some lines of thinking I read hear. Several people seem to be under the delusion that every single map will net you more than you spent. That is simply not true.

I have faith that the developers are reading this and will adjust accordingly. They have been pretty on point for meaningful updates.

Its all about the RNG...sometimes you juice the hell out of a map and get nothing. sometimes you don't and you get big items.

The most div drops i've gotten in a map was with a 2 mod t15...it dropped 5 divs...

1x orbs and 1 regal to make a Waystone with 1 life remaining.
Preserved Vertabrea to make it 0 with abyssal mod. 3x
Omen of chaotic rarity - 25x
Chaos orb to use chaotic rarity - 13x
triple distilled emotions - 3x

so per map it cost 45 exorbs at the minimum

That's just 1 waystone.

3x 10% quant tablets - atleast 1 div each for those, depending time of day.

that comes out to 5-6D depends on the time you play.

Net return is not even close.

Im not revealing my strat but I invest more than that in my waystones. And its not even anything that is RNG. (Has to do with the new mods they added)

And I get back all my investment before even halfway through 10 maps.
