200k gold to sell 2 divines?

you can still trade with people...... and it costs no gold. A way to directly trade from your stash to theirs so not limited to 1200ex would be nice though

Which technically is the main and only purpose for the gold cost at first place.

Indeed. Try to buy those 2 divines, and it would cost 800 gold or something negligible. The issue is buying thousands of the same item. Doesn't much matter what it is. Buying 10 000 wisdom scrolls probably costs a fortune too.

The system works very well the way I see it. Hopefully it puts a little bit of a slowdown to the huuuuuuuuuuge horde of trade bots out there, and hideout warriors need to actually play the game too. And it slows us down a bit, especially early on in a fresh league, so we can't just buy all the great gear and be done with it. Then quit a week later because we are bored and have no goals any more.

The job of a developer is to do what makes for a more healthy game too, not just give us what we as players (think we) want. Sometimes we disagree with them, maybe often. But we aren't necessarily right 100% of the time. This is one of those times.
