Irradiated
|
Good morning all
I have looked for the answer and cannot find it. Since the change to towers I cannot seem to get irradiated precursor tablets to work, as in increase the level of the node/map. Do they work differently now we are placing them directly into the map, or perhaps the better question is how do I get these to work, I don't want to be running so many level 79 maps. When you enter the map and hit TAB what does it say about area level? 79 or 80?

It says 79.
(Unless it was previously irradiated by a tower before the mid season change to towers, then it says 80) |

Screenshots?

they do work unless you slot the precursor tablet and 1 overseer tablet and have organised force allocated in the boss tree.
Might be the issue? Edit: Overseer precursor tablets remove the +level even without organised forces allocated. Last edited by IILU81II#8410 on Oct 21, 2025, 12:59:10 AM

I do not have organised forces passive.
Its likely I am doing something wrong, hoping for help I have tried to upload images, not sure it working correctly, I am not very good at this sort of thing. The first image shows my inventory and the 'adds irradiated' precursor tab, and also shows the open Sandspit box with a T15 map in it and clearly says 'Monster level 79'. The second pic shows the precursor tab in the map device as well and monster level is still 79. Last edited by Bones n Hombre#8862 on Oct 21, 2025, 7:02:10 AM

This is a visual bug that's been around for months now.
Have you actually put in the irradiated tablet and t15 waystone in and launched the map, or are you just assuming it's not working based on what the map device is telling you? |

If i go into the map (I am playing on Xbox), when I pull the map into the main screen instead of the corner, then it lists some information about the map on the upper right of the screen
I am not talking about the pause screen which lists all the modifiers. It gives the map name, the realm (EU) and also states monster level and this also shows 79, even with an irradiated precursor tab. I cannot therefore get higher than level81 maps, as the only way to get 80 is in a previously irradiated map (before towers change) and then stick a T16 map to make this 81. edit: I have just gone into a corrupted map and this also states 79, and inside the map also states 79. This without any precursor tabs being used, but should be 80, right ? Last edited by Bones n Hombre#8862 on Oct 21, 2025, 8:36:43 AM

Just because it is corrupted, doesn't mean it is tier 16.
If you put in a tier 16 waystone in without any tablet, or the node being previously irradiated, then yes - the monster level in the actual zone should be 80. If you put a tier 15 waystone + the irradiated tablet, then it should also be 80. Which slot are you putting the tablet in the map device in and how many modifiers does the waystone you're using have? Are you certain the tablet is active and the waystone is tier 15? |

Guys, sorry if I am being frustrating, perhaps I can email the screenshots if someone is happy to PM their email address to me. I just cannot seem to post them here.
I have played POE2 since the start of early access. I certainly know how the whole +1 levels works (trying to grab a T20 uncut skill gem in season one killed me) Yes, I understand that T15 = 79 T15 + either corrupted or irradiated = 80 T15 + both corrupted and irradiated = 81 T16 = 80 T16 + either corrupted or irradiated = 81 T16 + both corrupted and irradiated + 82 (what I am trying to get) Perhaps I missunderstand the new precursor system, that is maybe likely. I can get monster level 79 in any node/map If it is a node/map previously (before the change to towers) irradiate/corrupted by a tower its monster level 80 If I use a T16 waystone/map it becomes 80, or if previously irradiated/corrupted it is 81. Sorry, it is not my intention to be frustrating about this, I am literally frustrated myself, I cannot farm with my off meta Warbringer in the higher tier maps. I guess it is just some sort of bug |
