is per node cost 1 ascendancy point? if yes, Aul is somewhat viable for armourstacker (at least with my build, but not really)
with my build i can afford to unspec 1 8% mana reservation node, then unspec templar ascendancy side (then getting hierophant FF set instead of deadeye), then spec the 3 points into determination + 15% increased global defence change : +9% average damage, -0.7 attack rate, +1% total DPS, +~3% ES, +50k max phys and ele hit TL;DR : armourstacker bros, dont even bother switching lol Last edited by ogharod#6617 on Oct 27, 2025, 1:22:05 AM

None of these are worth traditional ascendancy points. Rework most of these before league start, these bloodline "ascendancies" are a complete failure.
That being said, you first told us that 3.27 would "go BALLISTIC on balance", and it definitely didn't. Meta barely changed if at all, and most dead and unused skills weren't even touched. And then you tease these bloodline ascendancies as being a cool upcoming feature for customization and fun ; when the vast majority turns out to be bad if not complete trash. I want to be hyped... but it's just hard to be (please buff and nerf more skills) Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks and valdo's boxes simply isn't fun.

Like.....you were better off just making the Phrecia ascendancies base game ones then whatever this is.

This is so great. Finally a reason to hunt down these lategame bosses that you usually dont bother to grind for.
And those that say these points are weak are a little clueless in my eyes. Like 50% ele damage converted to chaos is probably one of the strongest ascendency points in the game right now. I believe stronger than original sin - that should say it all. With that node you can easily rotate almost your entire phys to lightning to spell through all elements and then to chaos. With how added damage works in poe1, that should be pretty insane. I love it and would like to see something like that in poe2 as well. Great system because it can be expanded so easily too. Great job ggg. |

You need a whole new build to use this.

This ain't it extremely niche where even if there was something good for someone, they have a huge drawback or need so much investment that they's worth turns into negatives, and you're basically just wasting your time some nodes are worth something but not everyone can use them so basicaly only the 1-2% builds can act take advantage of them and people mad cause basicaly they lied in the video how totaly everyone can use them and its lots of power but in reality its questionable if any build can use them i just dont see it maybe i am blind.

Im usually on whining side but i have different opinion on this.
Im plannig to go hyb minion and was thinking about Catarina. Umbral Army looks completely broken when paired with vaal sum skel (36 base x6% thats huge for one skill gem slot lol), also opens up possibility for weird melee zombie builds. 12% def on specters?? as if specs d not be good enough. Death offering - wording suggest it may be most op skill in game atm, for sure we lack details but low offering dur+ 3x belt might do the job. Prolonged servitude dunno, d need to test it what is triggered by it or not (minion instability?) I d think more might fit my old builds, some look straight broken - deli Schizophrenic dissociation or Orloth boon of the river (5% for restore ward on hit). Just be open minded, a lot of crazy options there imho. |
