new bloodline ascendancies: mostly garbage?

How am I misrepresenting the limited and inconclusive data set we have from poe.ninja, which only shows the top slice of non-private profiles?
There is no pivoting at all. In the data that you yourself brought into the discussion to begin with, as of writing this post, 55% of people do not use a Bloodline. This leaves 45% of the players in the dataset you brought up to be actively using Bloodlines. Suddenly, the data is no good anymore? Funny how that happens. As I have laid out, popularity of a build can be indicative of its relevant strength, but many powerful builds have been underrated or underused in the past. Ergo, relying solely on "how many people in the top 80,000 public characters use thing X" is way too narrow in full context. I swear, y'all would have so much more fun in PoE if you had a more open mind. The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

art....i brought in the data to illustrate the fact that while a decent chunk of players are using bloodlines...the actual BREAKDOWN of the bloodlines being used (aka...this thread) is exceedingly narrow. And the reason so many are using bloodlines, and namely the same 2-3, are because THOSE PARTICULAR bloodlines ARE good. I said that in the very first page of this thread. I have continued to say that.
Yet you took the SAME data and said: "45% use bloodlines, guess bloodlines aren't so bad are they?" And you did this AFTER saying the data wasn't useful anyway. That is a deliberate statement and attempt to sidestep the thread. You are deliberately obfuscating and misdirecting the points being made to try and demonstrate a catch-all. You deliberately moved ENTIRELY away from the gradations and nuance of this discussion, which is not to judge the entirety of bloodlines or their general use, but that MOST OF THEM are garbage. The poe.ninja stats are relevant precisely NOW because the people who have the currency and the power to actually playthrough and test these bloodlines are those who made to to lvl 100 in the first week and exist on those ladders. The data isn't complete, for sure, and is heavily biased towards popularity but it still provides a usable snapshot into the minds of those who are capable of using and experimenting with the bloodlines. And its quite easy to "filter out" the nonsense on PoE ninja for a more accurate overall picture. Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Nov 9, 2025, 12:53:41 PM

If we set aside the fact that PoE Ninja merely reflects popularity trends rather than actual potential, it’s still quite fascinating to see how many players are spread across all the new bloodlines.
That alone shows a willingness to experiment and explore beyond the usual popular standards, proof that these new options are clearly not garbage. After all, if they truly were garbage, no one, literally no one, would bother using them. Garbage implies into the bin they go, and clearly they don't.

" Yup And you have to think about how many people actually test things versus people who play 1 thing get their league fill and leave. Would think its pretty night and day for that. Mash the clean

the only real annoyance is the gating of said bloodlines. Some are easy(like breach, mists etc), some need special/highend characters to even reach.

The Oshabi rage node is weird, don't like that it's constantly resetting rage. Stun immunity's cool, though. Clicked Carnage, instead :<
