So how do we feel about Keepers of the Flame efter a few days?

im 78 now, gotten my 6link, so i guess ill get back later on how i feel about endgame, but as it stands now i still feel this is one of the most enjoyable leagues iv had.

So will see if endgame time will change my mind or not :)

In a word; terrible.
If the idea is to nerf drops because the loot is from the league mechanic, they couldn't even get that right. Most breaches drop nothing, you don't even get a thingie to use on the tree a lot of the time.
So the loot is nerfed, and the league mechanic is unrewaridng, until eventually sometimes you go to the tree and get a badly rolled rare and some bubble gum currency.

I'm already done with this league unless it gets some huge buffs.
I agree, it's terrible. I log in run two maps, get annoyed, and log out. I think I'll go play standard after I've finished the Kirac's pass.


I'm amazed at how they thought everyone would love it if they took a mechanic like Breach, that's simple and fun to interact with, and turned into a convoluted dumpster fire/mechanic that takes half the map.

The tree def provided/provides easy gearing. Its nice that you can just switch it depending on what you are looking for.

But for you who are at err, "full end-game" starting to do Ubers etc, is the tree still relevent for you?

Stopped already as, despite only just getting into maps, there's a real feeling that it isn't going to get better without some significant changes to loot drops.

Yes.
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
I went through a checklist asking myself if there is a reason to keep playing the league, especially as someone who favors physical-based melee builds.

- New ascendancies: big downgrade relative to core ascendancy points
- Foulborn unique powers: nothing that offsets the massive loss of stats from using unique items
- Graft abilities: apparently the only physical-based one here is the "violent desires" impale ability? how about something to help bleed?
- The breach mechanic itself: unrewarding, slow, incredibly laggy, and destroys most other (harvest is still OK) forms of map juicing
- The tree itself: apparently wombgift drop rates were stealth nerfed into oblivion because they barely drop from breach mechanic in endgame now

In summary I think I'm going back to standard before I see another purple blob take up half of my juiced map while 99%+ chance of providing nothing useful and turning game into a powerpoint slideshow.

If I wanted to stay in hideout and craft all day just to get some kind of profit, I'd play POE 2. It's a shame because I loved last league and actually don't mind this new breach mechanic, if only they didn't blow up endgame farming.
The more they force me to play the way they want me to play the less I want to play. They've been doing this for years now and quite frankly I just can't be bothered anymore. I have better things to do with my time.
The nerfs will continue until morale improves.
