Nothing drops, it's so boring!

I don't like this league mechanic, especially that boring wall that turns into flames... Foulborn unique could have been more strong, but league in general is almost ok. As a concern the drop I think it's the same as previous leagues (for my experience)

Played this league insanely casually and I don’t have a problem with loot personally

WORST thing GGG does is shadow nerf the loot. One play session you have decent drops from a strat and then suddenly its just gone. Not like rng gone but gone gone. If i farm for consistant loot for days or weeks i have pretty good notion on the drops, and also suddenly when they disappear. Can have maybe 1 unlucky session or 2 but not weeks and weeks and forever after.
I think it's a combination of several things and i give them the benefit of doubt that they did not shadow nerf loot on purpose. The Economy drives players nutz. It's a direct result of asynch trade. Everything is devalued that can be traded via asynch trade.
The tree is also not helping. Some players having so much loot/Divines while others get nothing. Same problem in Kalandra with rare culler and those super rare currency explosion mods. It is just plain bad design. A Tyraels Might/Mageblood like item ok, but not these very rare jackpot loot explosions. Give people their divines with less variance.
This league mapping is in the worst spot i've ever seen, by a stretch too.
I want to kill monsters and get loot. Not kill monster to get gold or piss-blood
so I can gamble on shipments and tree babies while getting absolutely NOTHING in maps. These nerfs have gone way too far in my opinion. I am in fact no longer sane since this league and the last patch. Wait for 3.28 so we can finally listen to the playerbase!! What a joke.
I have only got 3 divines. ! got 1 from a sale that was sold for chaos then I bought a divine. And 2 from shipments in Kinsgsmarch. I have not seen one raw divine drop this whole league. This league is horrible for drops but real good for lag and rendering issues along with screen freezes and disconnects. That's all this league is good for. This league is horrible. Try buying stuff on console where things cost well over 10 times as much then PC. This league sucks.
I'm quitting this league. I came back in 3.25 due to faustus. I played that until the last month before phrecia, then phrecia till its last month. On mercs I played till the very last week. I had really high hopes for this league because of async (which has mostly delivered), but the rest of this league is so awful I almost quit last week. News about the patch made me think they might have heard the complaints and were taking steps to address it, so I decided to stick around grinding it out so I wouldn't miss the rest of the league after they fixed it. They did not hear the complaints, they did not take steps to address them, and the problems certainly are not fixed. Even worse, the rucksack QoL was stripped out as a bug, adding injury to the already insulting patch. I'm glad I didn't buy the supporter pack I was considering at league start, and won't be spending more on this game ever if this isn't actually addressed.

Stop trying to force loot tiles. I know they're easier to balance, but they're boring. There's no fun top end multiplication of difficulty and rewards. There's nothing to aspire to, and it's killed my desire to continue building up characters. I wasn't even very fast this league, hitting 500k kills recently, but dropped a grand total of 1d this league, and it was from the tree. Normal map loot might as well not exist with the current state of the game. But despite the fact that I'm far slower than the top end players, so still technically have better content left that I could do, I just have no drive to grind towards that as there's no real sense of progress. Ambush is generally my mid-league farm once I can do t16.5 or t17's, to work towards the gear for the next farm... but there is no next farm, so there's no reason to even do ambush.

This league mechanic was fun for the first couple days, but now it just gets in the way and there's nothing you can do about it if you want to run any strategy that centers around non-blighted maps. I've heard necro league made a mistake by putting the league on the atlas tree and essentially forcing players to spend points there, but the solution is just to make a new tree for league specific mechanics. Allow us to turn up or down the frequency they occur, to adjust their difficulty/reward, or to alter how they operate allowing for the same dev work to support multiple different play styles.

Don't try to force players to play content they don't want to. They'll just not play instead.

Well, the specific mistake in necropolis league was that they put a bunch of points on the tree, and then balanced the league around the assumption that everyone will take the points - without the points, the mechanic was completely useless.

Starting the mechanic on full strength, and then introducing a few nodes to reduce its prominence wouldn't quite cause the same level of outrage, I think.
