After playing PoE1 again I have to say PoE 2 is looking better and better
" POE2 should have been 4.0 as was planned. It is already evident how many things in POE2 are changed to run like in POE1 because they are already tested and they work, unlike POE2 way. |

The main problem with POE2 is that the monsters are behaving like its POE1 while you are blindfolded hopping on one leg with your hands tied behind your back.
When POE2 monsters are updated in endgame to the "vision" of POE2, then perhaps the game will finally establish its identity for this supposed massive untapped audience that want DARK SOULZ ARPGs. They can start by removing the entire POE2 version of the abyss league mechanic since having a million green light-speed monsters flood your screen is not "slow methodical gameplay". PoE 2 has ruined PoE1 for me unfortunately. It is just not fun to play after the level of control PoE 2 offers... people keep saying the opposite, but I just feel like it's people who don't like change and want everything to remain familiar.
Can't wait for the new PoE 2 season, and can't wait to see it in its finished form since it already feels so much more compelling and fun to play. |
