Future of POE, with or without loot ? Please GGG can you clarify this?
|
Hello! Could someone please tell me what the future holds for Path of Exile, especially with regard to the next leagues? Will normal loot be available in future leagues, or is this stupid change here to stay?
Players need to know the truth about this issue so they can decide whether to stay or leave permanently — at least in my case. If this type of league is here to stay, unfortunately I will have to move on to a different game after 10 years — and it certainly won't be PoE 2. It seems that your goal is to push us all to PoE 2, or something similar. I know this league is already lost for many, but at least we can plan about the next. Many players feel the same way about the loot changes, so I would be grateful if you could provide an official response. Not just ground loot, but end game variety.

I don't think it's because they want to bring PoE1 players to PoE2. I actually thought it was more because they would make an extra effort, because this league would bring more PoE2 players to PoE1, which is why it's so incredibly ironic how they managed to screw up the league mechanics and the basic game in a way that only Kalandra and similar leagues come close to.
They probably don't realize why players play the game in the first place. I could swear that the majority of players play the game because of the base game, with a new league coming in second place and the league mechanics of the new league coming in third. With retention like that and weekends don't even bring more people, I don't know what are they waiting for. But to be honest, removing good mechanic with this breach dog tier was questionable from the start. I don't know what they are smoking, last league breach with wisps was fun to play.

Changes like Kalandra 2.0 are making it into the game because GGG simply doesn´t care about feedback anymore. They will keep doing what they what.
So you better get ready to play meta and playing fast enough to build a cheap T17 farming character in the first 2 days if you wanna loot. And yes this direction is bad and boring. |

Man, I don't know, I haven't touched T17s or T16.5s for that matter and I am already sitting comfortably at ~750 divines and it's not even week 3 yet. I know this ain't much and by this point I should have had thousands, but surely this is no poverty either.

" Man, you're lucky. I'd probably have thousands of divines by now, but that crappy league mechanic takes up so much space on the map that I can't farm at all. That's why I just deleted my league character in the early maps and stopped playing. That stupid league mechanic that's spread all over the crappy map really pisses me off. But presumably, GGG simply isn't using a calculator to quickly calculate whether the current league mechanic ensure that you can potentially earn more or less currency compared to other farming strategies. And since the fact is that the current league mechanic can earn significantly less currency, it's a disservice to take up the entire space of a map with it. " The question isn't how many divines you have in your stash, but how much you can buy with them. If you check poe.ninja for the same time period last league, inflation was already rampant as Mercs shat out Divines left and right, so the price of Divines was comparably lower than this league. The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" I would like to clarify it's completely non sense. Economy at day 20 was pretty much similar between Keepers and Mercenary. You can debunk this fake information on poe.ninja On Probation Any%

" The Divines I mentioned wouldn't be in my stash tab, but first in my gear and second in my mirrors, and those mirrors would in turn be in my gear. To farm even more Divines and thus even more mirrors until the gear is so absolutely perfect that there's simply nothing left to improve. And then the character would sit on the account in Standard for all eternity and chill there. I would also suggest you reconsider this: "The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge." "“The fire of knowledge burns up all action on the plane of illusion, therefore those who have acquired it and are emancipated are called ‘Fires.’” —Secret Doctrine I.114." - A Treatise on Cosmic Fire Knowledge is, if anything, the opposite of illusion. And the source of knowledge is Atma which is spiritual will, which reaches the mind, the vehicle responsible for processing knowledge, via Buddhi, spiritual intuition, or direct knowledge. Thus, spiritual intuition is practically the opposite of illusion, as it is the first state of being and the first plane that a human being can reach where no illusion exists anymore, at least if intuition is permanent and perfected.
