This is actual insanity

Not only GGG hasn't been able to solve this new patch's crashes and other bugs, now they are banning accounts for no apparent reason.

This is what i get for bringing my friend into the world of POE1 and POE2.
Everything was fine before the Abyss patch. We played every weekend for hours, my bro was having fun with the new game.

His PC is better than mine ffs. We tried every single trick in the book, that didn't work, we asked for support, they told us to be looking out the forums for news...

Not only there was no news on these crashes, now he receives a message "banned by admin"

yeah, buddy, the third party software is called OBS...

know that one? then maybe every single streamer should be perma banned, no? my bro is a newbie, he doesnt even use loot filter, man... i told him to get it, he refuses because he hasn't been to the endgame properly yet, he'd just got to the endgame when abyss dropped, and couldn't continue because of the constant crashes. we are brazilian content creator wannabes, bro... i dunno, it feels personal.

We filed for support more than a month ago, and posted the problem in the bugs section, with specs, listing every trick we tried from changing settings to whatever else people told us we could try... and the "support" we finally get is having to appeal to a ban, jesus H christ, folks, this is very disrespectful.


I mean, come on, the only explanation here is OBS, for instance i stopped recording my CS2 sessions in the past because OBS injects stuff into the game and at one point valve decided to nuke players trust factors for using it. Now how streamers can use it and never get caught in this false flag... don't ask me, i'm just a wannabe.

Maybe downloaded porn or something with virus and accidentally modified that exe.

It is not the OSB.

If it was, as you pointed yourself, a lot of people would be majorly pissed off.

And he states that he has only OSB.

So there are two options:
1. He lies
2. He is unaware of modification

Because I know nothing about this guy, I assumed the second.

Unaware means malware, malware is usually in porn and cracks.

Tell him to scan his exe.

Malware could actually be a source of headache like this, let's see if he has any cracked games there.
edit: you're right, i've also used OBS before with poe2
edit2: yeah, he had death's gambit on gog, it's pre cracked, he just installed it via gog... but windows defender wont accuse exe or the whole poe folder for that matter. Dang it, let's see if that was it, but it shouldn't anyway. He's not using bots or cheats, like... why can't ggg's ai flag the real bad guys?
