Is it legal to use mouse macros?

I'm sure I'd get banned if I used it. So how else are privileges granted to this streamer?

According to this list of rules, it should definitely be banned because it performs the server action by right-clicking multiple times with one key (middle mouse button).

I know you won't ban the streamer, but I'm curious what other features you added. +999 invisible quantity? +300% invisible exp gain? More?

By the way, I'm asking my questions to the GGG team, not to the fanboys.

This is incorrect. The streamer in question has LMB bound to mousewheel up/down. Every tick on your mousewheel counts as one action.

No, you're not. You posted it on the forum for other players. If you want an answer from GGG you'll have to email them.

Why you send clip with other actions?
If you want to reach the ggg team you should open a ticket. I could save you some work through. Nothing illegal was done in the clip.
good luck on your future endeavors mate.

btw you would easily see added "hidden" exp on stream, everybody knows how much exp what level content gives. Same with hidden quant. The level of juice is consistent. So do go forth and collect that evidence xD

Until GGG confirms it, everything below is hypothetical please do your own research and proceed at your own risk.

Is it legal to use mouse macros?

No, if it performs more than one server-side action with one mouse wheel tick or keypress.

Yes, if it performs only one server-side action per one mouse wheel tick or keypress. However, that is simply considered a key rebind.

A single "tick" of a mouse wheel performs one server-side action, like a left-click on an item to place it into a stash tab. You would need a second "tick" to place another item.

In other words, you must manually press a key or move the mouse wheel—without any automation—to perform one server-side action per button press or wheel tick.
x-mouse button control and the key binding options is gives are all perfectly within the ToS

You're mistaking macro with rebinding.

A macro is a single instruction that expands into a set of multiple instructions, in other words, perform multiple actions with a single input.

A rebind is simply, swapping one button/key with another.
Pff, who even plays Standard?

Let's see if we have something like this:

count = 1

# '1' key pressed
1::
if count==1
send, 1
count++;
elseif count==2
send, 2
count++;
elseif count==3
send, 3
count = 1
endif
return

In this case pressing the key '1' will send 1, 2 and 3 in succession and reset the sequence. One key press only sends one action. Call it dynamic binding or whatever.

This kind of macro is quite useful for people with disabilities who can't do piano combinations.

That'd be automation. You're sending multiple outputs with just one input.

Edit: Nvm, it cycles through the keys. AHK looks weird to me every time.

I am using something like this for casting few curses with one key.

Overall. Nobody gives a f what your script is doing. What matters is how many server actions you make with one input.
