I went to https://maxroll.gg/poe2/meta/the-build-meta
and looked at the "Build of the Week." I liked it and went to level up a Lich King, but to my surprise, when I reached the required level to use The Last Lament, the ability wouldn't activate because it didn't consume the necessary HP since I had "Eternal Life" from the Ascension.
Although the league isn't too bad, since I'm new to the game... I prefer to wait until the next one to get rid of this bad taste in my mouth.
