Gem Levels Needs Reigned In.
|
Having them everywhere in such high amounts cheapens the feel of builds and loot.
Gem levels should only appear on amulets and should be limited to +2 specifc or +1 to all with possibility to get 1 more from corrupting n last 1 from a double corruption. So +4 specifc or +3 all would be the absolute max. This would make a higher percentage of loot feel interesting and if the power was put somewhere like the passive tree it would also make the process of leveling up n making a build feel so much better. Completely disagree with everything you just said.

" PoE 1 player disagrees with reducing player power in PoE 2. How surprising. |

" I play PoE2 also. nice try! |

" Wow, don't say! Ok let me use slightly different words: "PoE 1 veteran disagrees with reducing player power in PoE 2. How surprising." Satisfied? Last edited by Sakanabi#6664 on Dec 8, 2025, 12:28:15 PM

Remove completely gear levels. With this way all gears and weapons will count.

It is very frustrating that so many pieces of gear need gem levels or go straight in the trash. |

90% of the power of a character being in levels on gear is super cringe if that power was on the passive tree so manny things would feel good leveling.
Right now its basically get levels on gear or spend 30mins perfect dodging to not get one hit while u tickle the boss to death. |

Agreed, the amount of power on gear makes enjoyment in the campaign highly dependent on random upgrades. If you get nothing for a while the game becomes completely unfun unless your build is fundamentally broken.
Cap gem levels to +5 on twohanded, +3 on onehanded and +1 on offhand seems fine to me. Amulets can cap on +2. Then add some base power to the early paths of the tree. |
