For some people who don't want to downgrade their driver, I understand your feeling, but sometimes the latest driver doesn't means the best driver.
In fact, the Nvidia latest driver actually has a minor performance and drop FPS while watching movie with H.264 issue now, and some users have to downgrade for it. so, downgrading display card driver is very common, people always choose the best one, but not the latest one. " Im on amd with CPU and GPU on Linux and it runs completely stable. All Hail Mesa Drivers. You also use Mesa Drivers on Windows. So u cna try that, but thats a stretch, performance will be terrible because Mesa3D has no hardware acceleration on windows. “The bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame.” Last edited by Alzucard#2422 on Dec 20, 2025, 12:09:32 PM

At one point I did try running the game on Linux (Bazzite). I got past some areas that crashed constantly previously and I thought I had a working recipe, but when I reached Tavakai -> crash. I could not get past the boss on linux because it would crash instantly.
I swapped back to Windows and did bunch of troubleshooting (reinstalling shit, resetting settings, clearing cache, etc.) and eventually Tavakai didn't crash anymore and I managed to make some progress. Then, at one point, I enabled Background FPS limit setting - game froze for a few seconds, could be completely unrelated, but when I went to character selection, I crashed again. And after that character selection has been crashing every time and I literally can't play the game anymore. Deleting shader folders or production config (=resets settings to defaults) doesen't help. There's no logic to these crashes at all.. And btw, I'm on fresh Win11 installation with everything updated.. Edit: RMA'd my GPU Last edited by Blah#3119 on Dec 22, 2025, 10:44:14 AM

Anyone still having issues with AMD adrenalin and drivers?
I "upgraded" to a 9070xt and only have problems with poe2, install 25.12.1 "outdated driver" ??? use cleanup utility, safe mode driver wipe. reinstall 25.9.1 runs great, log off and eat some dinner, come back to driver out of date. . . no driver updates enabled, including win 11. all disabled, only installed the driver not the software and still does it. Is it the game messing with the driver?? do I need to have the game run 24/7 so it doesn't bug out? who knows. If anyone has an actual solution to this issue it would be greatly appreciated, I have tried almost everything to solve. It will Save me 5min restarting in safe mode, uninstalling, restart, reintall 12.9.1, restart. Play game, twice a day Thanks |

" L. We need the latest driver for other games, too. |
|
|
Fix your game. Not using the latest driver is conflicting with other apps that are somehow able to keep up with driver updates.
