AMD graphics - they want us to rollback to september?

Very helpful thread, replying just if this helps anybody
Like posted here and how I see it, if you get the error message about driver incompability and encounter crashes, you either have to downgrade your drivers or wait for a fix. It is an unlucky optimization issue/bug and that AMD released new drivers as PoE launched 0.4 I have over 900 hours in this game so I sure hope they fix it asap or my holiday plans are ruined. I have the latest AMD drivers 25.12.1 and get the error message but I can still access the game on Dx12. However, I can't play since my computer crashes so bad it restarts every 10 minutes, especially with CoA Comet and Frost Nova and when encountering rare monsters or bosses. Tried Vulkan but that just wont work, the loading screens take 15 minutes and not all skills or monsters are rendered. Changing back from Vulkan to Dx12 didn't work because of deadlock, so I first had to change from Vulkan to Dx11 and then from Dx11 to Dx12. Shaders are in unbearable state and clearing shader caches wont work, because once you start the game they'll be full again. Please GGG and AMD gods, fix this issue for us AMD users. We don't want to downgrade drivers to lock us out from playing other games, customers shouldn't have to choose. |

I'm pretty sure game dev team and driver dev team get to work on things BEFORE the driver release. This notion of "oh no there was no time" doesn't fly. If this is the quality we can expect, this game will never get out of EA status.
