Again, for those that may not have seen my post:

Not sure why it took me so long to try this, but doing the following seems to have gotten rid of the errors:

Switching to Vulcan renderer (haven't really noticed any performance difference, I don't think - I'm on Intel & NVIDIA + Linux), and then I also verified my game files via Steam.

I'm not certain which thing helped, because I did both because I was impatient, but I would encourage you to do one thing at a time, starting with verifying your game files in Steam, then try switching your renderer to Vulkan if you haven't already.
Also have this error. Happens every 10 minutes of playing... sigh. Impossible to play hardcore :]
Guess we won't get a fix before Christmas since people are going on vacation :(
Same here sometimes

This just happened to me for the first time. Been playing for a year without this error. I also got a few screen freezes and game crashes yesterday when I alt+tabbed (with no error). Didn't have these crashes in 0.3.

Laptop:
i7 13700H
RTX4070
32GB ram

I'm trying DX12 in 0.4 again though. Used Vulkan previously to stop the random black loading screen. Haven't had the loading screen issue this week.

Same issue

it feels like their "performance improvement" is too aggressive at demanding resources and they tried to nerf it but it's still being way too aggro. i think this is the future of vibe coding as a core practice.
go fast and break stuff
all so you can take that cookie
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
