pretty much, we're all QA for a grown toddler, who ignores the results of the testing.

DeadLock detected.

This happen while playing with my partner. my partner has not crash a single time this season. I have been crashing consistently from 5 minute of play time to 1 hours.

Crash seen to happen to the following: Running, combat, rolling. never in town so far.

I have the following spec: Ryzen 7 7700 - RTX 2080 TI - 32 gb ram
partner Spec : Intel i7 12700k - RTX 4060 8bg - 32 gb RAM

no deadlock issue before 0.4. no "fix" has helped.

Constant freezing, gears loading, deadlock detected, disconnects. Never in my 20 years of gaming have a seen such a broken mess of a game like this. Every league they say they make improvements but they just introduce more crashes for people. Game is dog water performance wise. Ever since release this game has been a broken mess.

Have tried every fix someone has posted yet (I'm happy it worked for you guys).

I'm a lvl 77 rampage bear druid playing with a necromancer with many minions, and it's crashing 2-3 times on most maps now.

AMD 9000 series X3D CPU, Nvidia 5000 16GB+ GPU, newest drivers, win11, directx12, vulcan, doesn't matter. Tried with and without HDR, every type of window/fullscreen/windowed fullscreen. Deleted %appdata%/poe2-directory, tried disabling GPU settings in windows. Some days I can game an hour, others it's only minutes before multiple crashes.

Never experienced this before, been gaming since first beta. I'm so close to deleting this game, since the devs haven't aknowledged that his is a problem, even if the internet is filled with people experiencing it.

I had EXACTLY same experience when I joined opened game to play with minions witch. She used poison arrow skeles. When we were close to each other, it all was good. But if we parted ways like for 3-5 screens, my game immediately crashed (deadlock detected). It happened again and again and again until I noticed the pattern. When I left the party - no more crashes/deadlocks.

My AMD Adrenaline Driver just timed out 16 times in 30 minutes.....

WHY wont GG fix what They obviously broke?

I get this everytime I play in a pary (90% of my playtime) and we're not on the screen; I crash without fail.

EDIT: I found a solution that worked for me, but unsure if it'll work for anyone else.

The game will continue to load even when the Deadlock Detected window pops up. Don't hit OK and allow the game to continue booting up until you see the main menu. When you do, hit OK and have the game shut down. Booting it up again should let it proceed as normal without the problem occurring again.

Fix deadlock... its started happening only in 0.4
