TEXTURES NOT LOADING PoE 2 0.4

Same here. Super long loading screens, textures loading badly or not at all. The game hard locks if I open the options on the character log in screen.
My system is old but ran beautifully on 0.3
I7 4790. GTX1650. 16GB ram. all settings low and still having major issues.

Excellent point. The developer redirects people here; there's no forum on the poe2 website.

Yes, normally there is no way to set textures to low in game, lowest you can go is medium, also config is case sensitive so it should be "texture_quality=TextureQualityHigh"
I have the same issue, my system is a bit old (5 years), but before 0.4 it was running fine without this issue.

I've managed to fix it by using DirectX 11, it uses around 1.5Gb of my VRAM while Vulkan and DX12 uses all the available VRAM making this issue happens.

Same here.
32gb RAM
Ryzen 7800X3D
RTX 4090

Latest GPU driver.
Switching between Vulcan and DX12 doesn't help.
