Druid ... a living joke.

well... i swear i tried to give a chance and played a wolf.

cannot defeat Geneor act1. and i confess, i have no stomach for your fucking game philosofy. I don't have the patience to kill bosses with corrupted blood and freeze. They don't want to add life nodes to passives, because some vegetable thinks a character with too much health is wrong; 350 HP counts as a boss with freeze and corrupted blood. One hit means losing more than 50% of your life. It's impossible to kill. Besides, the boss freezes and deals brutal damage without defense.

I just deleted the druid, I'm going back to playing as a witch...
Druid is bad and slow

Druid is the epitome of needing combos.

I have manhandled most bosses in the game with very little effort. double volcano, bear slam, into lunar assault till frozen, wing burst to either stun or reposition away form the bosses, leap to get back in. The kit is amazingly mobile and unique. But sticking to one morph is definitely NOT the play. Maybe it is much later but early on especially in geonor you will want to use combos and use the Vaal rituals to soup up your weapons and armor.


I got 2 full rituals before Geo and was able to get 4 items rare 5+ attributes. Don't sleep on the crafting the Vaal offers.

My bear druid roflstomped act 1 and act 2 so far. I hate to say it, but it sounds like a skill issue to me

Dude. I killed Geonor with Wyvern so fast he didnt even have time to do his mist transition.
I call whatever you do bullshit. Druid deals stupid amount of damage.

I can understand if you struggled with werewolf because werewolf does cold damage and Geonor is resistant to it. But even then, its pretty easy.

Its 99% usually is though there is the meta and the devs mission to nurf anything else that's not their fav meta build.

So because he chose to play WW it's his fault the games act boss is too hard? That is actually crazy. It's the act1 boss. If someone can't play any of the skills through the acts that is horrible game design. So he can just go to town and buy some new gems and respec his tree and do it quickly right? Oh right he has to go back and farm other zones for more skill gems so he can farm some skills he didn't want to play in order to beast a act 1 boss. Amazing game design.

How about you create a actual feedback without name calling and belittling

I'll chime in with my experience on werewolf. I followed a mobalytics guide so that I would get the "correct" gameplay experience. Here were my skills at the end of act 1:

Shred--Rapid Attacks--Elemental Armament
Lunar Assault--Rapid Attacks--Ice Bite
Pounce--Fist of War
Frost Bomb--Spell Cascade
Herald of Ice--Magnified Area

The early early part of act 1 was bad. White wolves chunk you for more damage than you do to them. Once you get Pounce it feels much better because it kills trash as you enter. Pounce feels really good and "chunky" and gets an A+ from me. Lunar Assault feels slow and bad to use even with rapid attacks but it does freeze the leftover trash and helps make a weak combo while running around. Shred feels just ok. Way worse than its counterparts in other ARPGs which was very disappointing.

So...Geonor with the skill setup above was an absolute nightmare and I know exactly where OP is coming from here if he did something similar. Everything you do feels slow and clunky and dangerous and there's no opportunity to combo anything with the above skill setup for extra damage.

"Change your skills and do something else for more damage then." No. The gameplay of PoE 2 isn't good enough to warrant experimentation. That's why I followed a guide to get it "correct" the first time. Pounce was the only skill that felt responsive and meaningful.

Killed Geo in 8 seconds.
Skill issue?

IDK I'm breezed through ACT 1 & 2. I've only died one time and it was because I done a wing flap back step and got stuck on a wall where I couldn't move. This is why I'll never play HC unless they fix stuff like that. Just too many BS ways to die for me to waste my time with a HC character....but that has nothing to do with the Druids viability. He's absolutely disgusting. And once you get the ascension nodes in he's going to be ungodly. Both choices....I took Oracle BTW.
