I cannot believe how easy has the game become
" Tbh. i wouldnt mind if they make campaign harder. But please not by simply giving enemies more health (or the player less dmg) or add more enemies. Or giving enemies simply higher dmg. Thats not how you make things harder correctly “The bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame.” Last edited by Alzucard#2422 on Dec 18, 2025, 1:37:56 PM

They have proven again and again that their idea of hard content is just having a ton of one-shots that come out with no telegraphing, and having things that waste your time.

" Unfortunately I have to agree with this post. |

" Sadly yes. They could have also made great bosses in POE2 with way danker mechanics. I would have also loved Cutscenes for bosses. Just more Cinematic and more mmo raid style bosses. Not that the bosses are all terrible. But i said on discord before that the palyer isnt affecting a bossfight a lot. Youre always at the merca of the next attack of the boss and react. You dont interact with the boss/arena. For example when you fight Diamora, you cant prevent her invulnerability phase with certain actions. Actually affecting how the fight progresses is a great way to make a fight engaging. It makes the fight more compley, but ultimately just better. One boss that partly does this is Torvian, but its hte boss himself who interacts with the arena and not you. You just position yourself correctly. Its in between. That would have made bosses harder. And give a better learning curve for bosses. With 0.2 thgey chose to just give monsters more life to make ti harder which is honestly the worst way to increase difficulty. I wouldnt even say it actually increases difficulty it just makes stuff annoying. “The bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame.” Last edited by Alzucard#2422 on Dec 18, 2025, 2:22:26 PM

OP is either trolling or playing Easy Mode (trade).

My friend - I hear you and agree 10,000%
I play SSFHC and I literally doze off while playing. Every encounter it's Q, W, W, E and then stroll to the next mob pack to repeat. Loot? I routinely leave rare loot and most currency on the ground. Around Act 3 or a bit beyond, getting S or A tier gear is an afterthought. Boss fights? Jeez, com'on people, let's see a wee bit of commitment. Watch, like at least 15 seconds on YT to get the mechanics - every boss fight then becomes an opportunity to catch up on email while playing POE2. These days I challenge myself by disabling dodge and playing melee without glove or helmet gear. Even so, I can't detect any change in my pulse, am I right? Thanks for calling out all those players who struggle or don't find the game's so-called challenges to be nothing more than annoyances arising from lazy design. Love this community! |

its a balance issue, late game if you build a decent character nothing really can hurt you or survive 2 attacks from you, early game or acts are just gatekeeping you from getting your build together and only hard becaues you hove next to 0 options to make your build better, a few points on the tree wont change anything and a low level weopon upgrade will be costly for next to 0 noticible improvement.

One of the funniest moment was watching Ben getting oneshot by ice monkey boss in map because the game was so easy he forgot such boss could exist.
And that is also a bad design. Ability that is so fast and badly telegraphed that one shots character with so much mitiganion should not be in the game either. Maybe in some pinnacle boss fight but not random map boss. It was funny watching Ben immediately turn on poe 1 and never coming back to poe 2 this league :). So yeah game is too easy until something one shots you for no reason. That is just very unfun design. |

" This may actually be a good thing though Because i personally don't see the "engaging and meaningful combat" when fighting against 2 bosses that uses tons of skills and ground effects simultaneously, and if i make a mistake, i just need to spam the flask button and everything is instantly fine again (most of the time) If that's their vision of engaging combat then i don't want it, i'd rather melt the boss in 3 seconds and move on |
