No citadels

It always makes me laugh when people say "just travel in one direction". Everyoen is aware of this already , however it doesnt always work.

Last league I played 3 chars into 92-94 range and i didnt find a single citadel, we're talking literally thousands of maps and 20+sceens in one direction.

This league i found my first citadel yesterday on on my 2nd char who was lvl 93

I still havent unlock my last 5 atlas points for T15 Nexus, cos I have seen one in over a week.

Something needs to be done to remove the rng element of maps which can gatekeep you from content

No, this is not a player mistake.

We are many players doing exactly the same thing: going straight in one direction, expanding the map in all directions, for hundreds of maps, and finding absolutely nothing.

Some players have spent three full days doing this without seeing a single citadel. Claiming that “you can find one if you going straight in one direction” is simply not true for everyone.

When so many players report the same behavior, this is clearly not RNG, but a serious spawning bug affecting some characters.

Yeah, hopefully in the future they make sure some things have rng protection of some kind. I have a friend who plays far into every league and still has only the first hideout.

For me citadels start showing around 4 full screens away from the starting point and then all 3 are on the same screen.

6-8 screens away in two directions, no citadels or citadels beams anywhere. Hundreds of maps done. Didn't have this in 0.3.

Same for me, hundreds of maps done, any single citadel or citadel beamlight in the fog. It really wasn't like this in 0.3. Same thing with the Abyss - hundreds depths done, just one single Void. In 0.3 was much more of these. I haven't even completed my abyss tree and I'm lvl 94. I think I'll quit for now and wait for 0.5

Same for me, and I'm specced into the node that increases the % of leading to the boss. I'e been running irradiated Tier 15s. I might try irradiated Tier 16's, in case there's a gate on the area level. But I agree it's too rare. Even Simulacrum is easier.

Map moar. Map device go brrrrr.....

When I finally do find citadels I usually fail it and lose exp 3 times. Then it stains my map with a red dot of shame and I gotta keep looking for another one.

edit: it was Doryani and I couldn't phase push him, he's stopped taking damage. He just had to use his center spinning laser and for some reason it's so much faster and kills me instantly, it's a cruel joke.

None for me either.

I've mapped more than ever this season (0.1 and 0.2 I basically didn't). 0.3 I kind of just went in a big area and quit eventually. This league I'm going mostly in a straight line. I've found no citadels. This isn't fun. I can blast every T15 with my eyes closed (okay maybe a slight exaggeration).

I just want to fight these bosses for the first time but I can't literally because of RNG.

I'm probably going to just laod up on T1s, giga blast a map after map without a single tablet in it and just go as far as I can. I don't see why I should have to result to doing this but I see no other option.

Also vaal success rate on getting a T16 sucks, it's almost not worth doing but that's another problem entirely.
