I think Vaal Temple is underappreciated

My thoughts are that its an interesting idea to build your own dungeon.

In practice, it was a waste of time for me to do so, because I can already target farm the stuff I need for progression from map content, and jumping into a 20 minute long temple full of stuff I almost certainly will never use has no purpose.

If I wanted to do something 'challenging but rewarding' I would run a trial.
i love the vaal temple but it needs to be bigger , and u should be able to get greater exalts from the "crafting benches"
and overal the rewards are kinda MEH .

Man a lot of people angry all the time in this forum.

The Vaal isn't a waste. Its good and is only gonna get better.

Oh, it's not bad. You can look at how Neversink farms it. It's actually quite profitable. The main point is - if you know the mechanic, it works fine. But I don't think that "flower-shape" temple being the ONLY viable strategy is good design. It needs changes to become an actually good mechanic, IMO. It needs a lot of changes to be up there. The main 3 issues basically are: it's inaccessible in-game (requires too much knowledge you can't get in the client, or you will be heavily punished while obtaining the info), it's too slow and punishing (to build and maintain it profitable, while you can just run any other mechanic end you don't really need to do any of it and gain more), and it has 0 variety (if you want to play at least somewhat consistently, there is only 1 stratagy there, and it's not building a temple how you want it, it's building a "spider" of sorts for it not to be destroyed).

I think the way the Vaal temple is "charged up" is actually a great idea. Combined with the fact that you can stack multiple temples I think this is much preferable to how they handle access to the Arbiter with fragments for example.

You still get limited access to a Pinnacle but it isn't gated behind RNG/pathing to some specific far away spot and you can't simply buy access off the marketplace, allowing the rewards to be better.

I honestly hope they take out Arbiter's crisis fragments and give the Burning Monolith the same treatment. Make Citadels more common and let them provide the juice that opens the Monolith directly.
