Like I said it isn't. Let's take flicker strike for example, in PoE I can switch on the fly to Frenzy of Onslaught for bosses without doing anything to my armour or support gems. Skill gem swap and done.

In PoE2 I would need another six link for it, otherwise I could never swap out my main gem.
