I'm expecting from Devs to change their mind in 0.5.0 patch and bring off-hand gear for Crossbows. This type of weapon is dying and more more people abandon it for playing mage class that support better and with more DPS weapons.

I think that after GGG adds swords, they should add a node that allows you to use a crossbow in your off-hand, like Guts did in Berserk. That would be enough for me.

Allow us using Crossbow as dual wield if you not plan off-hand gear for Xbow.
Quiver for Crossbow is a must. This type of play is dieing due to weak DPS and the slow complexity mechanism. |

" Yeah I saw casters raining down comets like it’s poe 1 while I have to reload my crossbow. At least give us cast on attack or something like autobomber of casters. Exploit early exploit often bozos.

" You’re asking for this while lacking a basic understanding of both the game’s mechanics and Jonathan’s “vision.” Adding a quiver would only make things worse, because the crossbow would lose its two-handed weapon status. Once that happens, its damage gets pushed down to bow levels - around 600 DPS at best instead of the current ~1200. What you’re doing here is trying to invent a workaround for something that is fundamentally just bad design. And that thing is reloading. The problem isn’t numbers or balance. The problem is that reloading exists at all, along with everything that comes with it: extra buttons just to shoot properly and swap ammo, no ability to reload during a dodge roll, and locked-in, clumsy animations that completely kill the game’s tempo. On top of that, the way skills are designed makes the problem even worse. You’re forced to choose between six crossbow skills that are functionally identical, differing only in damage values and VFX. That’s not build choice or depth - it’s artificial variety layered on top of an already broken mechanic. I like to bring up positive examples of competent developers, like Riot Games. Yes, GGG isn’t on Riot’s scale, but they’re also not some tiny indie studio like Sandfall Interactive. While Jonathan ships a raw, barely tested product every four months and then leaves critical issues unfixed for months, fixing problems in the most direct and shortsighted way possible, functional studios support their products continuously. They ship regular patches every couple of weeks instead of spending three months fixing a single critical bug. This league completely killed my belief that anything worthwhile will come out of this project. Constant deadlock crashes, the engine falling apart, ongoing server issues, broken meta skills, blink still not working - and this is supposed to be acceptable. GGG didn’t just try to force shooter mechanics into an ARPG - they did it with a mix of incompetence, laziness, and outright design retrogradism, as if the genre hasn’t moved forward in the last twenty years. The crossbow, within this so-called “vision,” is easily the most unpolished, poorly designed, badly functioning, and mechanically broken weapon in the game. And if this kind of criticism gets trimmed, edited, or removed, that will say more about how GGG handles feedback than anything written above. Honestly, the whole game feels so raw right now that if PoE 2 were a chicken dish, it wouldn’t even be undercooked - it would still be inside the egg. +1. It's time to bring players back. They leave disappointed by Crossbow play. A bold sack will balance the slow and low damage crossbow skills.
It doesn't need to change two handed type of weapon. It's already punished with the current implementation. |

Crossbows are way more powerful. They should have nothing.
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?

" True but i wouldnt mind some extra from a quiver or whatever |

Make quivers run out of arrows, 100 per map.
