they should have banned the holten exploiters from the start, it would have had a more dragged out effect on the economy that way giving them time to work on a fix that is actually appropriate for this. Not bricking folk's temples that have been building it the way god intended.

Just completely scrap the temple and rework it from the ground up, it's the worst mechanic of any game. It's seriously heinous, please fix it.

Temple shouldn't reward more than 2-3 Divs a run and if anyone thinks 150 Divs a Temple is fine is severely out of touch with game mechanics.

It's a shame Temple was broken for so long but it happens at least now they are fixing what is broken.

With that said I agree with the above post that Temple needs a complete rework it's still overly complicated and unfun to build.

Never expected this from GGG - especially in freaking beta where nothing matters. Letting people enjoy the game - big fat NO.
League is dead, let the ones that build their temple and exploited Holten enjoy it.

First, I have to do maps to get to the crystals, then I can't even build my temple. I guess my league is over.

And even with this , at least Chris Wilson would of stepped up and apologised and said they effed up ! shame ..

GGG, you've lost the nerve of your audience, this time for sure. Answer yourself, every developer from GGG, have you tried to build this temple? Can you imagine how to build it now, after the patch? Didn't you think when you "executed" the league that ordinary players had already spent about a hundred hours building the Temple? How did you not hesitate to turn the time of thousands of people into dust?

Games shouldn't be so frustrating, ESPECIALLY PAID GAMES. Look who's writing to you! Almost everyone supported you despite your mistakes and strange decisions, but then you crossed the line. I'm sure many people inside GGG understand this. To give hope and then take it away? Is all this really worth your reputation and principles of not harming players in the middle of the league? Was it really worth it GGG? I hope that the part of you that remembers that games should bring at least a little happiness, especially on holidays, will win! I hope so!

So I enjoyed my holidays with family and business dinners and can’t take advantage of Abyss. Fine, wasn’t there to play and that’s on me. Oversights happen and bugs can be expected. Less than ideal but whatevs, I can grind through.

Blasting the game, theory crafting and testing options on the new class. All good. See the market’s a little wonky and see the mechanic most of us wrote off as boring is wildly overtuned when setup but takes a bit to get going. No biggie, there’s a reasonable shortcut everyone seems to be using. I’ll just blast up a new char in 3-4 hrs and give that a go after I do some other testing.

Do that and that shortcut plenty already used gets removed right when I get it going. Kind of not reasonable to arbitrarily move that goal post when folks get to enjoy that overtuned temple farm while I set it up far slower in maps. Not a massive deal as folks will just have a week or two head start and that’s not a massive deal if you can blast.

Spend a week setting that up and looking forward to blasting all weekend. Then you gut it so the gap to what folks already farmed and what I can possible get is impossible to close. Not to mention, zero respect for time and effort put in. That ish took a week to setup. I don’t mind grinding or dealing with some bugs but to grind with the payoff coming down the line, only for it to get wiped out right when we get to that payoff is absolutely an absurd “fix”.

You fixed the overtuned returns, potentially helping prices writ large stabilize but are only going to make the gap wider for folks and have completely invalidated peoples time investments before they got any return for their grind. That’s a tone deaf decision to say the least.

I don’t really think this is worth the gamble on my time when you seem to only be capable of pumping out 1 decent league every 2 years. My only regret is that I gave you guys $460, $90 and $90 supporter packs in 0.3.

Why don’t we make this final? Ban my account so I can never play this Frye Fest Russian Roulette ever again?
