Buff map loot then? I get that this needed to change, though it seems like a bad move to do it mid-league, but GGG could still do themselves a favor by combining a bomb-shell like this with a "...but we have improved the base loot drop rate in normal mapping to compensate somewhat for this nerf."

The most stupid patch I can think of.
If you must do that to get balanced of different gameplay parts, you need to do it with restart this leagua. |

nice balance update at mid league. top tier player can ez farm, ggg have a good game balance designer.

this is actually insanely frustrating. i get wanting to balance the game, and doing things like removing the holten exploit make sense. but completely killing progress people have dozens of hours making, is how you lose a dedicated player base. you have basically told the people putting 30+ hours into a temple that their progress doesnt matter. they can basically start over and not even bother playing the mechanic. and for what? to cater to the people that have a couple hours in temple that havent made any progress so they whine about people who put the time and effort into building out a temple. you are making significant changes to things on a day to day basis and it makes it impossible for people to build on their progress. like do i just nuke my whole temple and start over? do i just quit playing temple? do i just quit playing poe2 entirely? who knows. tomorrow you might just force reset everyones temple if enough casual players whine this isnt good enough. there is no consistency in league mechanics and you change things impulsively. either do mor extensive testing or something, but figure it out. the devs will be the reason this game declines.
