Why are other abusers not banned?

The current vision is to screw over casuals, apparently
Should we ban every "exploit"? I will bring my point again, you had the option to reset your first tutorial checkpoint to farm level 1 gem to sell for 25 gold, so you would get like 400 gold to maybe buy an item from the vendor. That is an exploit. Do you think people should be ban for this?

What if you open a new map in late game, run around to find the vaal area and then leave. You are still not completing the map, thats not the intent. You are doing it faster than other people, would that be an exploit because its "unfair" in their eyes?

Unless its a bug, cheat or any kind of abusive malicious software I do not want anyone to be banned. If people used a system you put in in the intended way and something broke, yes there is a problem and you should address it, but not by banning them.

All the salty people here just saying ban them for exploit, yet they can't even differentiate between types of exploit.

The players that farmed the temple did nothing wrong in game terms. They affected the economy in a messed up way, hopefully the responsible people learn for the future and thats that. As a developer you shouldn't punish people for your mistake or overlook.

This type of farm is nothing new, it has happened many times before in POE1 where zones were farmed for the league mechanic. It has been okay to do and allowed for the entirety of POE1, POE2, for all zones and leagues. And now you want to tell me that for this one specifically its a bannable offense? What a joke.

My view is that there are varying levels of exploits. If you can exploit solo with little barrier to entry then they can't really ban for that. Since it's an even playing field for everyone.

When an exploit requires teamwork and planning to execute then it's worse since everyone can't just do it. That was what Holten lvl63 farm was.

Then people were banned for doing exactly what the tablet allowed.

It's all over the place with this company.
*Trials are awful.
*Sprint is jank. Cant rebind.
*XP loss during what is essentially a beta without a combat log.
*People being shoved into an archetype instead of what they imagine.
*Using crafting orbs for currency instead of gold.

Nah it's too much at least for me.
Not banning streamers who essentially ruin everything they touch was it.

bump! it was a very good league but the exploiters ruined it! manipulating market with the ritual exploit, then the abyss one then holten one then so many others and 0 bans! and not only these trash streamers are doing it but they brag that GGG can't ban them or do anything to them! GGG literally gathers a toxic community! Don't ask for peoples money and support when the normal ones will leave the game! ATM GGG prove everyone that they are spineless to act in any way!
The easiest way to "punish" the streamers who abuse this stuff is to stop watching them.

Seriously - just close the tab. Don't donate. Don't clip it. Don't rage-share it. Attention is literally their drop currency, and people keep running the same map over and over like "wow why is this still profitable?"

If you don't want stupid behavior to be popular, stop making stupid people popular.
