The experience slog in this game is beyond dumb. the omen for not losing all of your experience doesn't always work and when your at level 98 going to 99 and the shit doesn't work, you want to hurt people lol. GGG has missed so many marks with this game I'm getting to a point of having a hard time defending it.
Let's take way stones. the only way to get T16 is through corrupting t15, dumb as fuck. you lose so many in the process you want to put your fist through the computer screen. the lack of options with way stones is mind numbing. how they went from POE1 to this garbage is beyond me.
This game is designed to punish the player base on every single front to the point people don't play anymore. EVERYTHING has a negative attached to it and it is annoying and just a bad call on GGG part. POE1 had negatives but it wasn't fucking attached to everything and at least you had options to at least make it somewhat more barrable.
Unique items are a fucking joke in this game. most are absolutely useless and I have no idea why they are in the game to begin with. or they might be kind of good but the negative just out ways any chance for it to be useful.
I could go on and on and on, but at this point I feel like we as the community are just beating a dead horse. GGG is going to do what they're going to do. I can hope all day they will figure this mess out but as time goes on, I'm losing hope. Like I said I'm at a point where I can't even defend this game to my friends some of whom still play and others who have walked away already.
I just don't know how you go from POE1 to this shit, I just don't get it, they had the winning formula and it's like they said fuck that shit lets piss everyone off by making no one happy other than the 1%. Same shit diablo did when they went from diablo 2 to diablo 3. Had the winning ticket and fumbled the bag hard as fuck.
I know I know I'm ranting, sorry just pissed, frustrated and upset, was hoping for so much better from GGG......so much better.

Everything in this game is just a gamble and its not rewarding, its a waste of time in its current state, Does not respect player time, agree with what your saying completley, Its steered so far from 0.1, seems like they just wanna make it harder and harder for no reason other then to sink time
It is too punishing, Especially SSF, Getting to a point where I'm probably just gonna move my character to trade realm so I can actually get gear
Ive farmed fractured orbs, Ive received 0 annulment orbs, a few divines, 20 chaos, and I know to actually craft the item I need, its a pure gamble that could take 1 chaos, 100, 1000, then desecrating for the other mod I want and just hoping for best, then needing to farm omen of lights because luck wasnt on my side, then using an essence to get another mod I want, and pray the last 3 won't screw me, if so, More chaos orbs + omens I'll never be able to consistently farm as its pure RNG!!!!
Game is only possible for the average person with trading, and even then, you need to slave away for all the sharks to finally make some currency just to buy gear from someone who had a really lucky day making you broke again
