Make sure your connection to internet is wired and not wifi, then make sure not on VPN.

I haven’t had a single crash in months, so maybe the issue is with Windows. Almost every article I read seems to call it a total mess. I remember reading last year, or maybe the year before, about a problematic Windows update that caused a lot of crashes in video games. That issue persisted for quite some time.

Give Fedora a try. It’s easy to install and doesn’t bombard you with intrusive nonsense. I honestly haven’t experienced any crashes on it. Even my system with an NVIDIA GPU runs the game perfectly on Fedora.

https://fedoraproject.org/kde/download

Choose the ISO listed under For Intel and AMD x86_64 systems

Fedora will automatically install the correct drivers, whether you have an NVIDIA or AMD GPU.

Once it’s installed, boot your system. When the OS prompts you to update, accept and let it finish, then reboot. After that, open the terminal and run this command:

sudo dnf install steam

That’s it. You can launch Steam just like on Windows. Proton, Steam’s compatibility layer, comes pre-enabled nowadays, so all you have to do is download Path of Exile 2 and click Play. It really is that simple.

Please don’t get mad if this doesn’t interest you. Someone else might find it helpful.

Bump. Bro suggests uninstalling windows for solution. That's where we are at. Note: In my case crashes often happens for overrun pack sized maps.
Relentless bump
Win11

RTx 5060Ti 8GB Vram
Ryzen 7600x

Works without any problems. Since 0.4 started - never played it before - had 3 crashes.

The problem is yours, not games.
