Unless your a streamer then it's time to quit when you stop making money off the game lul.

Anyhow was going to also say it's time for poe1-2 to go hard.

They want to do an Exilecon on top of already slipping on the 4-month cycle.

Exilecon 2019: cherish POE1
Exilecon 2023: abandon POE1
Exilecon 2026: shutdown POE1

And where exactly did it slip? We've had exactly 2 PoE 1 league releases since they announced their new 4 month structure: or, ONE release that followed the 4 month structure......which it did. We are now set for the second 4-month release at....omg omg omg......FOUR MONTHS!

3.26 ---> announced a new 4month plan. released on June 13th.
3.27 ----> released on October 31st, previous league

Counting on my fingers very slowly: june to july (1), July - August (2) , August - September (3), September - October (4). With the usual week or two in between to wind things down, patch notes, and rewind back up.

3.28 ----> As per GGG, set to be released "early March"

Hmmmm.......certainly seems to be slipping right?!

I always find it fascinating when people who don't play temporary leagues are so opinionated about the state of the game. The last time this doom poster completed one singular challenge was in Delirium.

Meanwhile, PoE1 is expecting one of the most fun events in its entire history to make a return.

Interesting insight into the mind of a doomer I suppose. Just does not have a whole lot to do with actual reality.

poe is still better than poe2 and that wont change the next decade+

POE 1 is 1000% better than poe 2
and if ggg continues to go down this blind path, it will remain that way

There are foundational things in POE2 that make it that no amount of time will make better than POE1 for me. Unless those change, POE1 will be better all the way up to the point where they turn the servers off.

Nah, abandon POE2, and just do what they should have done and made a true sequel to POE.

Hope they'll announce to merge them tbh
