HH made me quit this season

Head Hunter is fun. I use it on 2 of my characters. It's more for funzees than effectiveness. It's like riding a rhoa or something. Fun, fast, but gonna get ya killed eventually.
The amount of pushback in these replies really baffles me. I remember Mark saying in an interview "If something feels bad/improvable in the game, we'll improve it." If they simply removed Shroud Walker from the HH mod pool, it would improve people's enjoyment of the game, simple as.

They kept it in PoE for over 10 years and implemented it just the same in PoE2 for a reason. People just don't want to accept that.

Uh, you do understand that an OP chase item should have some drawbacks or everybody would wear it, right? Removing HH's one (admittedly, pretty big) drawback would simply make builds even more homogenized.

i use HH on my druid wolf and my pathfinder. 95 and 91 toons, they are not trash.

my wolf druid make any boss a cocktail in seconds, and i have no issues when HH teleports me.

my path finder kills every thing with 1 or 2 hits, so wgen i teleport, the monster is already dead. i think u r wrong.

Yeah, i said "require". Those two builds probably not require hh.
I mean that most of builds not require using hh, so if you don't like it - then just dont use it.

Yup, we don't want to accept it. Just because it has always been this way it's not a reason to be against it. In PoE1 you at least have enough mobility to outpace the Shroud Walker. In PoE2 you try to run from a mob, do like 3 steps forward and go back 2 steps. It's bad. And we simply don't want it in our game.

That is not the reason and u know it, it's been layed out several times in this thread alone. PoE wasn't this fast in 2014 aswell btw.

I guess if u want to push the issue, GGG might just change HH back to 20 second buffs and remove shroud walker instead. It will be a dead item, just like it used to be in PoE2.

GGG is a company that balances power with drawbacks and thats even more true for PoE2 btw.

The teleport will stay because its a strong cheap mechanic to get most players killed if they not a bit tanky enough. even being a lot tanky can sometimes still get you killed on juiced maps.

Proximal Tangibility is not absorbed, which tells me they not fair and mods have been selected.
