All points to failure. It all depends on how they redesign the end game.
Will POE 2 be its own game or just a reskin of POE 1? Either way, GGG really disappointed with POE 2 overall. |

But here's my predictions: 1) Endgame, for real this time. 2) Endgame Atlas includes ability to turn content on and off, like PoE1. "Choose your own endgame." Do you want to kill bosses, hunt rares, just do ritual? There's nodes for that. 3) Endgame expands time travel. " Personally, I do not want the game to fail, and it probably won't; but if it goes the same direction it will fail for me and other like minded individuals. In fact, I'm desperate for it to NOT fail, and it's frustrating to see it go towards failure. You've probably noticed the split in the community: people that want another POE 1, and people that want a new game with a new direction. Well, as it seems now GGG has no idea which side to pick, and the game quality suffers because of it. The game is in a full blown identity crisis. I want a new game that doesn't promote broken meta builds, and insane slot machine like speed. But, if GGG decides that's what they want, I'll accept it, at least they pick a side; because a game made for everyone is a game made for no one. |

I doubt we will get 0.5 info now, we should get a mid league patch that may happen to be related to endgame as a preliminary test like 0.3.1 did with towers. That's all we can really go off of.
