How common is it really for people to not reach t15 maps onward

So im not a vet i only played poe1 for like 30 hours so poe2 is my first real poe game and I was under the assumption that over 90% of people reach red maps and atleast kill t1 pinnacle bosses seeing ive had no problem as casual player.

With that in mind ive been seeing alot of people as of late saying they are on t12 etc or stuck in the acts still and it got me wondering what's the % of the playerbase that doesent reach t15-16s etc is it more than 20% ? If anyone gets any insite id love you hesr

Outside of ggg posting something I have no clue what percentage of accounts go that far.

I don't consider myself an overly great player... old with messed up reflexes and sight. So I guess I figure if I get that far quite a few people do.

Personally my issue is and it's the same every league. I get my first character into end game for a bit and then... I get all these "great ideas" and end up playing around with experiments until I get bored.

My main is sitting at 95 not because it's hard or any of that. Just because I keep doing experiment builds because I get bored in end game.

So I guess all of that is why I figured the percentage is pretty high.. but maybe not.
well.

Your question makes sense, and the explanation is that a huge number of players stopped playing because of the "vision."

There are things that many people have been asking to improve for months, but haven't made any progress yet. The frustration with the game and its mechanics is truly terrible. I've been playing since launch, I still enjoy playing, but I've stopped doing a huge list of things in the game because it's a waste of time and resources. Maybe 90% of the players are new, I can't give an exact number, and certainly many people stopped playing after that disastrous league.

Besides. I think the problem with the bad loot, and this flawed crafting system, leaves the player with no choice but to quit.

I have almost 6000h in PoE2, I have 5 characters on standard, 98, 97, 96, 95, 93. As I said: I still play... but I confess I'm starting to lose patience.

a huge number has not stopped playing

the frustration isn't terrible

90% of the players are not new

what "disastrous" league? 0.2? It was fine. Game is still being fleshed out dude.

loot feels fine

crafting feels fine

6000 hours actual in game time would mean you have played more than 12 hours a day, every day, since release. And then having no level 100 character on top of that is hilarious. Either you're a bot and bait posting, or you're losing "patience" because you need to find something else to do.

I tapped out in Act 4. I don't enjoy the whole grind currency -> buy gear loop but plenty of people seem to.

Yeah same here i don't get the hype of making a mirror from market play just to be deleted and made null and void in a month or less

And I use to have 5 alts on eve online just flipping and making shit so its not that I dont get flipping etc whatever people do In this game is questionable
After the first few times I stopped. I don't see the real point when the high level gameplay needs screen-clearing poe1 builds that honestly aren't too fun to play. I have fallen asleep grinding maps because its just hopscotch from one patch of safe floor until the boss dies to my single target skill. I come in and do the cool new campaign acts and check out new classes and skills but that's it really.
I dont know what others think, but here is my experience:

I played 0.1, 0.2 and now 0.4.

Campaign is straightforward. You pick up whategver your characters archetype (warrior picks pure armour, mercenery is armour/dodge, monk is dodge/ES, etc)
You use disenchant and get rare items, doesnt matter if its crap item, somehow it will still helps you.

Maps are the point where you become a bit lost.
99% of the drops are just trash.
And you start to experience that your hitpoits arent going down, it just disappears.

So you start to max out start even though the direction is a bit weird...
Because to get the endgame currencies you need to overpower the areas, but you cant overpower them, because you dont have the currencies from those areas...

Ok... maybe trade?
But you get overwhelmed. You need everything.
You scrape together sort of max resistences, and high def stat and a good healthpool.
T15 rare maps however still oneshot or you get oneshotted.

Then you do some research. You hear that the POE2 community is friendly and helpful.
Yet most players will have
2-2.5k health,
350 STR
10k armour
70-75% resistances.

Then someone will tell you
"nuh-uh... thats literally nothing. You need 4.5k health, 550 STR and 80k armour minimum. "
So you play days, but no upgrades.
Crafting guides are: "Fracture until you lock your stat, slap 200 chaos orbs until you get stuff, you need 50 of this item, and then vaal it until you get a good result"

Player checks it own inventory to see 1 or 3 fracturing orb, maybe a dozen of chaor and like 10 vaal orb.
And thats 6-8 weeks of gaming.

You check guides and players will show, not explain, just SHOW, that the "entry level gameplay" is to destoy like 15 maps the time your average joe ass goes through a single map maybe...

Somehow the gap is brutal. Everything escalates insanely.
And this brick wall hits hard.

Seems endgame bosses arent even skill based enemies, they have a few skill based invulnarbility mechanic, and the other part of the fight is locked out by sheer gearcheck.
That is a superjump from the T15 maps.
You feel as if you skipped some content.

T15 juiced bosses? Unless its some stupid mod, easy.
You go to an Realm Boss, and seems the bosses single attack just wipes you off.

Your progress stops... it takes 30-40 maps for a new attempt, and in those map clears you dont see item improvement.

I still cant kill the breech boss, and out of the 20+ breech rings not even a single one is suitable for my character.
You reforge them, still crap.

You go to simulacrum, and you dont even have the lucky drop to make an enchantment.
But you get a hard pick still: do you go for a defensive direction or dps?
Will that single enchant even help?

Exploration feels the worst. Out of my 4 characters I used to farm t15 maps I think Ive seen 2 explroation map drop.
Ok... I check the help video what to do with those... and... "you need to run dozens of those to get a good return"
