Map boss loot Vs Rares

Can we please buff the distribution of loot from rares more over to the boss now that's the map objective? It feels good to progress to boss and then move on but so much loot is being missed out on. Also can magic monsters please get a loot buff they don't seem to be any different to white mobs in terms of loot other than having a affix on them.

So skip the map, rush to boss, get most of the map's loot there, leave?

Yep precisely that also in Poe 1 not a foreign concept if people lingered it was for mechanics and white mobs for xp maybe rares if they wanted the extra loot, boss drops are very under tuned if you can't understand that , that's a you problem my friend.

I would like to see boss rushing to be a viable playstyle - loot wise - since fighting bosses is the most fun part of a map.

The bajillion extra HPs/Damage granted to Map Bosses this recent patch was not paired with an equitable rise in reward for slaying them. They're now also mandatory. Something needs to change.

You can juice boss drops. Abyss tablet, Overseer tablet, Delirium tablet + atlas nodes like Organized Forces, Beyond Reality and Isn't it Tempting?... Question is: Who wants to fight such powerful map bosses? LOL

with all the map boss difficulty unlocked and overseer i see genuinely decent rarity loot from bosses, regularly tier 3+ unidentifieds without having a rarity build, and it would be the easiest item level 82 to obtain if not for the league mechanic, so i'm not feeling like this deserves complaining, but i kinda agree - what happens is you get a few items that are all mostly not the bases you're looking for, they are usually rare so you can't even use the nice blue currency on them, and the boss has lots of health and dialog and animations. if it wasn't necessary to travel the atlas, maybe i just wouldn't bother
would be nice to get some extra inherent quantity maybe |
