[Feedback] Address Defensive Disparity: Proposed ES Nerfs for 0.5.0

With the upcoming Content Patch 0.5.0, Evasion and Armour are in a pretty good spot as defensive mechanics, but Energy Shield continues to be an outlier, being vastly superior. I urge GGG to NOT buff Evasion and Armour further as that would trivialize challenging content within the game.

Would agree.
Possibly looking at the mechanics around ES. As comparative to Armour, you dont have to invest in anything to get these extra mechanics. ie: •Convalescence+second wind •MoM •Thresh and recharge nodes positioning relative to %ES •CI Specifically I think the tree on ES needs work. You dont have to go many points to get everything you want surrounding ES. (Recharge, Tresh, Start of recharge) Some of these you just GET right ONTOP of your nodes. Where as armour, our other mechanics are further away. (Regen, Block, Armour applied to ele, Armour against proj) All this stuff for ES is connected, literally like threshhold, to their %ES nodes.*** ***And why does ES get generic ailment threshold ON TOP OF stun threshold???? Armour only gets "elemental threshhold" on a single node. And then completely separate stun threshold nodes. Kind of a scam that you can invest 3-4 whopping points into thresh as a ES character and never worry about stun, ignite, shock, chill, etc... And its right next to where you already are for ES These mechanics need to be separated, you shouldnt be getting generic thresh on top of stun thresh, and then just having all the nodes right next to your %ES nodes. You should have to actually spend and invest to get these defenses. Not have them just handed to you. Feel like this is the same as CI's issue. Where your weakness at a high ammount of ES is supposed to be X(ailments/chaos damage) but you just bypass that weakness entirely. Every posts complain about armour sucks and ES is overtuned I’m 100% sure the gigachad 60K+ armour titan will come in and deny it or attack the OP for not knowing how to be tanky with armour. What a surprise this time he complains about ES and cry for armour changes. Who are you? Is this account sharing you impostor?
