In Endgame 95% of item drops become meaningless

If only there was a thing like a loot filter that you could setup and only see what is worthwhile for to pick up. The player could filter out all the junk and target specifically what is useful for their character or what we want to target to sell on trade.

Kind of agree. I only played SSF for a year, and now I'm trying out trade. In both cases, inevitably I tell my loot filter to hide about 95% of the ground loot. In trade, it's even worse. I now hide every gear item. They don't even exist to me, now. If I want something, I'll just buy it.
It's nice that we have a trade filter. The trade filter is great. But, when almost everything is being filtered out - both in SSF and Trade - maybe the loot system needs to be revised. |

Yeah I would like a loot filter that could identify if a magic item had 1 T1 mod, regardless if it has a (tier #) callout on it or not.
That could be useful for the recombinator. If they add a loot filter menu, we should also have the option to bypass the loot filter to show normal items that could be used for crafting. For example I like to stockpile normal voltaic staffs, just to craft and see if anything useful comes up. We could really use an in-game loot filter menu to improve UX. " So this https://www.filterblade.xyz/?game=Poe2 Problem solved, enjoy your game then. |

" Missing context, I wouldn't have made a post, if the problems with loot drops was fixed by a loot filter. |

" Yeah. You want (half) identified items on the floor, so you can vacuum. Never gonna happen. For good reason. Enjoy filterblade. |
|
" and what reason do you think that is? So there is something wrong with not wasting time to look through items to find T1 mods. And it is totally okay to you that (Tier #) callouts can have Tier values mixed with items that are regular item drops. When allegedly Items are pre determined when they hit the ground. So anyone who uses a loot filter potentially is leaving behind items that can have better Tiers than the (Tier #) callout items. It makes no sense to me why anyone would cope with the current state of value indication. Last edited by TwitchGLHFsport#2155 on Feb 22, 2026, 12:24:48 PM

" The sanctity of trade and free markets, or some other economic bullcrap. This ain't a game for playing, it's a market simulator for a vocal and weird minority that GGG happens to agree with. |

So the argument is - leveraging peoples time, sacrificing UX for an economy that has more scarcity.
I think if GGG actually cared about scarcity, they wouldn't allow League players to merge all of their items into standard. I think (Tier #) callouts are a good QOL step forward, but flawed in many ways, there needs to be a redesign for better UX for all items in general. " Because it obviously would degenerate into into a mindless afk-clicker. But people like you never understand that. Hence diving deeper doesn't make sense, sadly. |
