new worst league retention?

with the implementation of the new breach and tree going core, is anyone else expecting 3.28 to hold the new record for worst league retention in history next to 3.27? the tree alone, even if they nerf it will make mid game farming pointless as it did in 3.27, essence farming and delving i assume will still be obsolete farming strats like 3.27 and i know a lot of people play both, also a lot of map juicers used breach as a big part of their mob booster in prior league but with the new breach going core I'm unsure if we'll see multiple breaches per map again, if they do then does that mean potential for multiple hives per map? if so then that in itself would break the game, GGG needs to get on their game and start doing what the community wants, they're so focused on poe2 they forgot about us entirely, they said they wouldn't make this new breach core if it wasn't liked, and guess what, its nit liked, they just lied to us and are goin with their vision, not the players. i know they haven't revealed the league mechanic for 3.28 yet but I'm already on the fence of dropping poe entirely, i haven't really enjoyed poe in the past few years except for merc league and ToTa league, all other leagues have been in my opinion, boring, so if they keep showing us that they don't care about our feedback and just make slop for themselves then I'm done with them, i used to look forward to playing 16 hours a day, now i cant be bothered to load the game, bring back the fun and excitement GGG. My friends and I used to talk for hours about strats of what we'd play and do and now its just, "should we even play this league?" fix yourself GGG

Wow, I'm hoping this is a bad joke an early April fools post. You have a bad take on how Path of Exile 1 has been working the past few years. So I guess I understand why you go from an obsessive 16 hours a day to threatening to quit.
hoho TLDR: he hasn't liked leagues except for Merc and Tota league, and now that new breach is core he's even more upset.

Settlers league was that last league I enjoyed enough to reach level 100. Even though Settlers was a fun league, gold and kingsmarch going core killed the game for me. The opportunity cost of not using the new content (which you've used / played to death last league) adds to the burnout. I'd be more encouraged to play a new league if it was an actual blank slate with new content. I don't want to touch extra content (that isn't explicitly new) until Red Maps.

Until PoE1 has a relaunch with debloat I'm not interested.
PoE has been on a downward spiral since they sold out to the chinese mobile gamba game publisher tencent.
bring back the state of the game in 1.3 vaults of atziri patch

Sounds like you need to find a new game to play.
The only thing that is guaranteed is that things will change over time until development of POE1 stops. If you like a thing, do it now, because it might be gone next league. Something else to keep in mind about that thing is someone else might be hoping that it changes away from what you enjoy. They can't win over everyone.

As an example, nothing in your post applies to me. Even the one thing that I dislike with the change to breach isn't mentioned in your post (Breachstones gone).

The overall tone makes me think you've hit burnout stage, and a good break might be helpful.
Thanks for all the fish!

I'm already not particularly interested in reading this with the premise that the title conveys, but even less so when the concept of paragraphs seems to escape you.
A lot of hypotheticals for a league we know nothing about. GGG delaying 0.5 makes me think this will be a pretty big league. Guess we'll see in a week. There's zero chance the tree will be a good source of non-unique items. You can take that to the bank.

Time to quit league is inevitably going to get shorter and shorter now that we have async trade. Unless GGG completely blows up core game systems every league the game is solved and streamers are speed running to boredom faster and faster every league. This problem is unsolvable. For a new game like PoE 2 where most guides are awful and 99% of people don't even know how the game works (myself included) there's a lot more mystery and room to entrap people in a league for a month+.

easily top 1 on my list of top 10 anime betrayals (I am being serious). at least the western version of the game didn't become pay to win
