please tell me temple wont go core

I like the temple, nice chill experience, could make layouts a bit simpler and more open so there are less things to get stuck behind and make it easier to build as later it should become harder as there will be less chances to run them.

interesting if they could do mapping more like this when you build out your maps instead of them being rng, maybe replace indoor maps with similar dungeon crawl you can build somehow and leave open maps open. For example persisting structure mixing trials and temple where you build it by running but instead of annoying bad things at the end you chose a room and can affect layout.

I would much prefer longer runs of a built environment to these 5 min map runs when you spend as much time crafting map and selling junk as you do running the thing

now those asmeri farts you have to slowly chase across the map are a different thing...

I'm almost certain it will go core, but IMO it can't be the state it's in now. If it doesn't get massive changes (including QoL changes) that's a huge mistake.
I think people enjoy building a temple into something that's juicy and rewarding, but the current mechanic is way too rewarding and overshadows the rest of the game by a large margin.

They'll have to make adjustments to core functions of the mechanic - we can't have people who power-level to 97 in an hour and pick up 800 chaos in scraps along with 50M gold just by standing 1 room behind someone playing CoC-Spark while also having that same mechanic enable dedicated players to completely eradicate any integrity of an in game trade economy.

There is no way I can see it going core in it's current form. It is way more "illegal" than homogenizing orbs ever were and they got the boot. So enjoy it while it lasts lol.

the only way to fix temple is nerfing its loot by literally 99% if you can make like 5 divines per hour with maximised temple i would be okay with it

Why less loot? This feels like the most rewarding season I've been a part of and as long as you grind it's accessible to everybody with minimal learning, i personally feel like you have it flipped and instead of finding ways to make temple 99% worse temples and maps need to meet up around that 50% mark. You don't need to kill temples you need to make the rest of the game worth doing
Its finally able for everyone to get decent gear not just the top but casuals aswell. why the hell would you nerf it to oblivion most of these div hoarders dont play standard. dont make standard as worthless as in PoE1
a built temple should be between randomly maps created maps with alched tablets and juiced maps with crafted tablets in endgame, so more casual players get access to better loot while for nolifers its still maps
I hope they delete the temple. If not then at least remove lock medallion and it is pretty much fixed.
hmm.. What is everyones problem with the temple. IF the problem is that some people have fun farming it and getting rewards, i don't think its a problem. Sounds like there is massive gap between what temple rewards. But its a cool mechanic. I have liked it the two times I opened it.
As a professional service provider I can tell you what's wrong with the temple - last league 4th ascendancy carry cost 2-5 divines, in FotV 20-40. Do you see the difference? That's how inflation works.
And not really, proportionally it's same hard to get a decent gear upgrade for the same reason - very good items which cost hundreds of divines in Abyssals league now cost mirrors.
