Can we please keep awakened gems as legacy items?

i grinded hard for them and i'd like to keep 'em please.

If the changes work anything like unique items in the past you will be able to keep them in standart as long as you dont use any currency on them that would alter them like gemcutters for example, if not i would assume they will be automatically changed to the similar/different new ones.

I fear they're being deleted like the alt gems were.

" Uniques and gems are different. One is an item with separate stat lines with rolls and variants, another only has level/xp/quality to distinguish from others like it. For a precedent, existing Blood Magic supports were converted into Arrogance when BM was replaced with Arrogance and Lifetap. For an anti-precedent, Convocation went legacy when it was changed. New version had different max level, and that would be non-trivial to convert. |

Kind of a sad change. I'm still reading the notes but i always farmed maven for the awakened gems. I never needed anything maven dropped otherwise.

" I wouldn't interpret "can no longer be obtained" to mean they are also removing existing copies - that's an additional affirmative action that the patch notes make no reference to. Are you responding to something they've said elsewhere, such as during a livestream or on social media? Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.

Existing copies of these items obtained prior to 3.28.0 will still exist!
After 3.28.0 is deployed you won't be able to obtain any new Awakened Support Gems. |

Bump for awareness. Thanks and I guess we'll see how they compare. Our awakened multistrikes are still safe.
