I've always used Firefox. Seems to have better tools and security than Internet Explorer. Anyone remember an ancient browser called Netscape Navigator? Is that browser still in use anymore?

The only browser that comes even close to Firefox would be Chrome. But having a functional adblocker (http://adblockplus.org/en/) and a nifty addon called noscript (http://noscript.net/) is necessary when browsing the dangerous interwebs.
I recall quite vividly first seeing what I recall being Netscape Navigator 2.0 on a 14.4k modem. Worst browser that I can remember was Internet explorer's ancestor Mosaic that had god awful HTML rendering. |

Chrome. It just feels so much better than the other browsers to navigate under Linux. Like it is more polished.
