I find the patch notes fairly disappointing. Certain nerfs are mind boggling to say the least. Feel bad for the 4 people who still use totem builds. The act of voting and the act of actively participating in a forum discussion are two entirely different things. A more correct analogy would have been one comparing this forum to your local newspaper's Website's "Who are you voting for?" poll, which is obviously statistically irrelevant. The reason why it's statistically irrelevant is exactly the same reason why using the posts here to judge the opinions of the PoE population in general is incorrect: people only raise their voices when they're unhappy. This is why to do political polls, they have to call people. No self-selection bias that way. I wonder what the ratings of this patch would be if GGG called players? People who don't vote are apathetic about government, as a rule. PoE players who don't post here are probably not apathetic about PoE, because they're players. You can't be that naïve. The vast majority of players NEVER visit a forum, let alone post. The vocal minority will always have a presence on internet boards...and the vocal minority is usually the ones dissatisfied by change.
