Server Issues

Srsly GGG, its such a great game (in opposit to D3),

but server-wise you are doing exactly the same mistakes.

Whats that for a shit? Pay the money for more server capability, whats the problem?

Youll lose more money, if ppl quit the game because of the server issues..


Im also a bit pissed of these strange dcs..why you just dont let more players play like the server can handle? I dont get it. Then there wouldnt be crashes etc

Why are you using queues, and the servers are overrrun nevertheless?

Srsly, the dudes who made the game did amazing work and the dudes who are responsible for the servers should their fking work getting done now.


I honestly hope, that you dont drive the same strategy like Blizzard, that you never increase servers capability, but wait until only few ppl play poe anymore...

But theres a difference, your games amazing and many ppl will play it, if you work on it further, so why ffs you dont build up more server capability?

They have more servers on order. Servers aren't cheap. GGG is tiny, still.

There is no real insight to what you've said here. Blizzard had virtually unlimited money to build the ultimate ARPG and failed. It had nothing to do with funds -- although I suspect an overabundance of resources lead to a lot of lazy design and greedy decisions.

The queues are to keep the servers at a stable level. They're not there to lock people out for any reason other than that.

I'm sorry but comparing GGG to Blizzard, while probably instinctual, is really unfair, especially when you bring up money.

Eh they make open beta to exactly know how many players the servers can handle and from that they will order more, and this is a free game and it will be u shouldnt be so hard to be negative, try see beyond whats going on im sure the devs cant be happy but they do everything they can just give them time.

I'm starting to get really pissed at people whining about server issues, so I'll just ask One question to the OP and leave this conversation:

Did you support/donate/buy micro transactions?

If you did, great, I like you, keep it up and sorry if I seem agressive.

If you didn't,... well, I'd rather not say anything more.

How can you say Blizzard failed? They made millions off Diablo 3. Not saying Diablo is good, because I know PoE is ten times better, but to say Blizzard failed is wrong. 3.5 million in the first day is not a fail.

Conclusion: They are working in the stability issues, so, for me, I'll try again later.
In the meantime, I'm watching some GSL VODs, maybe play another game.

Is that so hard to follow? If you find PoE unplayable right now, go do something else in the meantime besides bitching on the forum...

You think GGG doesn't know they have too many players for their servers? But since they made a free game they should have money right?
