Self cast SRS is almost gone... You have to add the mana reservation nerf and wraith and anger nerf... Forget about using Haste/Hatred, Discipline (for mana, with EB) and Wraith & Anger... No Discipline = No AA/Less effective life from MoM. No Wraith/Anger = DPS Nerf (in addition to base damage nerf). No Haste = Less cast speed / Less attack speed for SRS = Huge DPS nerf.

Al least still works with Spell Echo...

A bit disappointed by the too small Ice Nova buff but we'll see how it plays out with the new tree. Same goes for the harsh Frenzy nerf. Other than that I'm pretty hyped :) Thanks GGG.

The Witch and Shadow passive tree starting area has been redesigned. The area surrounding the Witch, Shadow and Ranger has been redesigned. Many clusters throughout the tree now have new notables. Many values have been adjusted.


Question - Does that mean tomorrow after I log into my Witch. None of my points that I have in the tree currently will be their. or will they still be their and new ones will be added. Just wondering if I should prepare for not having them in their current locations or will they stay were they are now ?

If you increase the duration you will increase the dmg most likely.
The new mechanic seems to imply that viper strike protits most form increased skill effekt, massive attack speed.

or perhaps this will be a good use for reduced duration, to apply those 175% damage in less time
SRS 20 % nerf is not enough, 30 or 35 % would have been more balanced.

Haste/Hatred is far superior in DPS to Anger/Wrath.

I dont know why people always want to run discipline to run MoM/AA. I run a 24 aa with Cloak on a 5 aura witch atm, could easily drop PoF+PoL which i only use for Atziri.

Haste/Hatred/Clarity are totally fine. Gonna be able to run a high lvl AA, even when using a staff.

how significant will this "bug fix" be, in terms of optimization?
What happens with rearguard. Will it drop after the patch even if it is tied with invasion?

Probably several reasons, one being the changes to Viper Strike? With 50% (lvl 6) Increased Duration and the 90% increased Skill Effect Duration in the skill tree you should get around 17 seconds to apply an unlimited numbers of Vipers. Hm.

And how does one skill gem have an effect on another skill gem?
This does not make sense.
