Good bye eternals i won't miss you.
I find it hard to believe there isn't more of a fuss about this change. Eternals were effectively the ONLY tool in the crafting system with which a serious crafter could fight back against the relentless RNG inherent to the crafting system.
I'm not sure if the removal of Eternal orbs is just a troll, or if it's something that's serious. If it's a troll, then that's a pretty fucking good troll. If it's actually real, then RIP the whole crafting system.
From now on, every exalt dropped on an item will be a YOLO ex. If it doesn't produce a useful item, scour and start from Transmute again because there's no way to undo your YOLO ex. Simply put, without Eternal orbs, there is just no point in even attempting to craft a perfect rare. Basically, this change means that you're literally better off to chaos spam an item than you are to use an Exalted orb.
The only scenario in which you would (maybe) use an Exalted orb would be if you managed to chaos spam a rare item with 5 perfect mods. Even then you'd probably be better off to master craft a mod than use an exalted orb and risk getting a shitty mod that you couldn't remove without scouring (hence the parenthetical maybe in the previous sentence, but then they are making master crafted mods more expensive, so is this where Exalts get used now?). It's difficult to overstate how big of a nerf this is to Exalted orbs. The only thing an Exalt has going for it in terms of value now is its rarity.
Eternals were the 'Selection' in "Natural Selection". Without Eternals, all we have is Natural. You're just waiting for a hurricane to blow through the junk yard and magically assemble a 747.
Eternal was really bad for the game, lot of ppl are agree with that...
You know their was crafting, and mirrored item befor eternal right ?

you need to cooperate more with other players, that way you can share dailys between each other and masters in maps too
Ever occur to you that some Exiles prefer to go it alone most of the time?
playing alone and self-found is fine and is a challenge in itself
just be aware of why they are balancing this, its because of so many are cooperating and getting very big gains of master-xp every day

About what i said " I won't miss Eternal orbs ":
Well feel free to have a different opinion than mine about crafting and at a certain point i can totaly understand your thought by the way crafting T1 rare items with eternals ( which purpose is often to go on RMT website that ruined many games already ) is not the way i enjoy PoE.
I really like master crafting for leveling purpose but for really rare items or near perfect i keep thinking it has to be really hard and your rare drops / yolo exalted items should always be considered as more valuable than eternal method.
Thats said this is my own opinion since i'm playing path of exile ( May 2013 ) and as i said feel free to keep your :) Gl hf

" Path of Exile has been made more challenging in general."
This was my favorite part. While most other games dumb down their content over time, PoE is standing strong. If I wanted a watered down faceroll experience I could go to a million other games.
I support GGG because they actually care about delivering challenging content.

Longest WOT I've ever fully read!
Many great looking changes ( server in Italy yeah! DL yeah!), some nerfs (hey it's GGG after all...), but a couple things that imho don't make really sense:
"
Multiple rare items have been added to the quest rewards over all three difficulties. (Including rare Jewels in later difficulties)
here the voice inside my head is screaming "vendor trash!!" At least make them identified...
"
Normal Items with four linked sockets have been added to quest rewards in Merciless.
this is even worse!! 4L in Merciless? C'mon GGG I play mostly solo-sf and never had a problem in having 4L by Merciless - even easier now with masters - either make them a 5L(5s) or scrap them...
"Metas rotate all the time, eventually the developers will buff melee"
